Connections elected for him to join powerful Paul Fitzpatrick stable following that event, so obviously they have a high opinion of him. Drawn well and David Jack engagement a positive sign. CHARIOT KING (6) led but handed up when 4.6m 2nd (of 10) to Two Eye See in 1940m Bulli Huntley Memorial 2A0+ Feb 21 since landing 2.1m heat from subsequent Parkes winner Mike Brennan there Feb 16. Go well. JUST A BLUE CHIP (5) began well and found running line trail when 2.4m 2nd to Johnnys Boys in 1730m Bathurst 2A0/2A2 Feb 25. Impressed last time and can make further progress. SKIPPERS CANYON (3) resumed in brilliant style to land half head win from Art Princess in 1720m Penrith 2A0/2A1 Mar 12. There is some speed on his outside and he may have a job holding them out. His class will stand him in good stead. GENTLEMANCROSSING (1) can be forgiven for his flop in Huntley Memorial at Bulli Feb 21, when racing wide from his poor second line barrier. Previous form was hard to fault on Riverina tracks. Drawn to atone. JACK HALL (8) ran a terrific race on debut when half head 2nd to Celtic Crusader in 1755m Wagga 2R0 Mar 6. Showing promise but is drawn awkwardly. ALL I CAN BE (5) is a Jayne Davies trained colt who will be fitter for 2.2m 2nd to Dark Cameo in 1609m Cranbourne 2YO Mar 11. Keep safe. This class is slightly harder but drawn where he wants and will be in the thick of the action throughout. MIKE BRENNAN (7) has won four of six starts. Overlook flop in Huntley Memorial at Bulli Feb 21. Atoned to land 9.5m win in easier 1660m Parkes 2A0/2A2 Mar 4. This race boasts more depth but cannot be left out of exotics. Previous form was outstanding including 10.1m win from Life Changing in 1609m Menangle 2A0/2A1 (1:56.8) Dec 30. Stands out. PLAIN SAILIN LOMBO (9) trailed leader most of way and flattened out for the run home when 1.4m 3rd to Sunrose Don in 1765m Nyah 2YO Mar 3, was 15/8 fav. Will strip fitter, go well. STILL SMILIN (2) was checked early and caught eye when fast closing 1.1m 2nd to Celtic Crusader in 1700m Young 2A0 Mar 13. Can measure up. SNEAKY CATCH (1) was caught in breeze but stuck on gamely when 1.9m 3rd to Skippers Canyon in 1720m Penrith 2A0/2A1 Mar 12. Should be hard to hold out from this gate. On current form he’ll be pretty hard to run down if that turns out to be the case. The big danger looks to be PREZ (5) who has been costly for his followers but is ticking over nicely. He’s missed a place only once in six runs since resuming. FRAGMENTS (9) is awkwardly drawn for her first run back from a spell. She’s shown enough ability to be a factor here and note the engagement of David Harding to drive. NOBODY WANTS ME (2) has been in de- cent form and can improve further from the close-in draw, while LOADEDBELLE (6) is a strong place chance despite the awkward barrier. You’d think that form you hold up well here, particularly from the inside of the front row. BOOM LAND (3) created an impression at his own debut at Globe Derby last weekend. He didn’t have the best of luck and was beaten only 0.4m by Waitpinga Bad Boy, who is a horse of some promise. He looms as the logical danger to the likely favourite. WAYWARD LAD (6) improved at his second career run and deserves to be in the mix for the multiples, while TRUE COURAGE (4) is another possible place contender. The rest would have to improve significantly to have any say in the finish. She’d likely have been right in the finish were it not for that error and with a mistake-free run she’s the top pick here - even given the wide draw. ONE ACE WONDER (3) has been the model of con- sistency over his career and it’s difficult to imagine he wouldn’t be around the placings here. Depending on where STUNNING BIRD gets to, he could be the leader here. Drawn outside him is KEEP SECURE (4), whose last four runs have all been good, while SAL- BRESHAR (2) should also be included among the place chances. PRINCE NIRAK (1) improved to win at Kapunda last start and has place claims here and MAGICAL MAXINE (9) might find this easier than her last few Victorian runs. Not sure about BEHIND ENEMY LINES (5) - his best is good but he’s drawn awkwardly and prone to inconsistency. This is her best draw since three starts ago, when she started off the pole and was beaten only 1.8m by Elysees Crest. NOTHINGLIKEMARY (1) resumes and if she can make advantage of the pole could be hard to hold out. She’s won two trials heading into this. Ignore the last start of MAGIC TECHNIQUE (7), who was absolutely luckless when a beaten odds-on favourite behind Our Lucky Knight. He’s a must-include here although the draw is definitely a concern. OUR LUCKY KNIGHT (10) himself warrants some consideration, al- though he’ll need everything to go right from the draw, while AM- ARILLO BLUE (3) and MISSILE LAVROS (4) are place chances. He showed a stack of speed to cross and lead from sixth on the front row in the Gawler Cup and suggest Cavallaro will again be able to put him in a good spot. Two other major chances will also come from the second row, with MYRNIONG RAGER (8) in good form in two South Australian starts and MASSARUA (9) perhaps suited by the drop back in trip. COSTA RAZOO (7) has received no favours with the draw but his career record entitles him to a chance here, while LENNY BROMAC (6) and PICCOLO WIL WIL (4) are others who ought to be considered. It’s taken her 52 starts to amass two wins but with David Harding driving she’ll be given every chance to post another. RINZETSU (4) was going along very well prior to his last-start fifth behind Lend Us A Score, while LIVINITUP (2) can easily improve on her last two efforts here and at Kapunda. It’s worth noting that she started three out on the second row on both those occasions. All three horses on the second row can run well, with SNEAKER (9) perhaps the one on the up. He’s having his first start since September and has resumed in winning form previously. Last time out he gave SCOTCH FROLIC (2) 10m and only went down a head. Both horses go into the mix here from the front. Drawn outside them is TAKE THE LOOT (3), who is very capable when she gives herself every chance. Two starts ago she pulled herself into the ground but last time out she did an excellent job to defeat PINEVALE ADAM. Of the horses starting further back, it’s tough to ignore the claims of MR WHIZZER (9). Any trotter who defeats Gammel Dansk is going well and his form before that was pretty good too - although it’s worth noting that he goes from starting from the front to a 30m handicap. GLORYS BOY (8) almost never wins but, based on recent assignments, he’s a hope for the multiples. Based on that performance, there is no reason why he shouldn’t be able to do so. It’s hard to entertain too many of the rest. SMILEYS A CORKA (4) was an improver behind MARTIAL ARTIST last start and BARODA BANDITO (6) wasn’t beaten all that far by Waitpinga Bad Boy last week. The most recent run of KORUNYE KID (5) was too bad to be true, while OCEAN CRUISE (2) (Mach Three - Ocean Dream) and MINISTRY (7) (Peace Of Art - Jasiri) are first starters. SELECTIONS: MARTIAL ARTIST (3), Smileys A Corka (4), Baroda Bandito (6), Ocean Cruise (2) + TONIGHT TONIGHT
