ALOTOFTROUBLE (8) gained a nice trail throughout but finished third (3m) behind a smart type in Cool And Casual last outing. He has a trailing draw and gets his chance to break through for his maiden victory. BARNIES LITTLE GLEE (7) picked up some ground in the latter stages when fifth to Blitzem Lass at Shepparton last outing. He is racing better than his form reads and looks to be one of the main chances. LOMBO COUSTEAU (4) has only been placed once in his eight starts to date but ran to the line nicely for fifth behind Jaccka Felix last outing so rates as a value chance. BAYCADES (1) was placed at Warragul on February 11 and is perfectly drawn so he must be considered as a place chance again here. MAORI MISCHIEF (8) finished strongly to win comfortably in a troublesome race at Ballarat last outing. This race is harder but she should be even better for that effort and is worth an investment. LOCKHEED (10) has ability but he has broken stride in two of his three Australian starts. At his only other effort, he finished on well for a distant second to Shiraz Cabernet so he is an each way chance if he delivers a foolproof display. The query runner of the event is the former brilliant juvenile PREMIUM KIWI (7), which hasn’t started since a tenth at Cobram in December 2007. He has had an extensive trial campaign where his form reads moderate but he is too good to dismiss. He is a talented type and must be respected. THE PRESTIGE (6) is an experienced maiden but places regularly and looks to be one of the leading chances in this event. PARTY MAKER (2) settled on the markers and worked to the line quite nicely when fifth at Yarra Valley last outing. He has early pace and should give a bold showing from his good draw on the front line. ROBBOS RETREAT (1) was resuming since August when he held his ground in the straight and finished fourth to the smart pacer Dual Agent Tabman at Geelong. He should be fitter for that run and is ideally drawn so is worth an investment. JAZZAM (4) is resuming since December 2008 but looked very sharp when she dashed home to win a standing start trial at Geelong recently and has a great record at Cranbourne. BELOKA DIAMOND (3) used inside runs from last and motored home for fourth behind Mister Anthony at Cranbourne. She should be fitter for that run and will be suited by the small field of six runners. ULOS (5) got up to beat Northern Danjaro (won since) at Geelong then finished fifth behind the in- form pacer Brooklyn Bute at Ballarat. He has a good turn of speed and is worth thought. BULLEE BULLEE (6) is a brilliant beginner from the mobile and is likely to find the lead despite the outside of the front line draw. He is ideally drawn and should prove hard to beat again. MYLADY TESS (8) is capable of sprinting to the line quickly with the right trail forward and is drawn to trail the likely leader so is a winning chance via the sprint lane. EATEM ALIVE (7) is terribly drawn but possesses early pace and chased hard behind Lighting Two Up (35m) in fast time last week. He was a winner at Kilmore in January and gets into this race nicely with a concession claim. HARBHAJAN (3) circled into the breeze and boxed on well for a close second to Joes Beauty at Maryborough. He won a recent Geelong trial untouched in brilliant fashion and followed with a Kilmore trial victory so he is certainly the horse to beat. ONLYONEWOMAN (1) beat the good filly Dottie Hinson at Cobram then finished a close fifth ($2-50 fav) at Ballarat. She is perfectly drawn and will run a good race. STAR SPANGLED RAMA (5) is a strong mare, which led throughout to win at her first effort since January. She has a consistent record and should run her usual honest race. DOVER DOWNS (10) raced wide for the final 700m when third to EARL OF STANTON (11) last outing and has the ability to figure in the finish. ULTIMATE DEAL (10) is a strong type, which raced on the outside of the leader Mister Anthony throughout and finished second behind that pacer last outing. He is terribly drawn but should make his presence felt. PRIME PROSPECT (1) trailed the leader, was held up momentarily but failed to accelerate as expected when sixth at Yarra Valley last time. He is better than that run suggests and is worth another chance from the pole position. WAINGARO GRANDVIEW (9) finished sixth in fast time in a heat of the E K Bray Country Club Cup last outing. He has a good strike rate and looks well graded here. EL PELIGROSO (3) won a race of similar standard at Charlton in January and was placed behind the handy trotter Earl Of Stanton at Ballarat last time. He is well drawn and should be competitive against this line up. TIGER TUFF (9) has broken stride at both of his efforts since March 2008. He has a lot more ability than his form suggests and is a winning chance if he delivers a foolproof display. WINDY DOLLAR (1) hasn’t raced since a ninth at Maryborough in June 2008. She is lightly raced and won at Ararat when on debut so he must be kept safe.
