Right in the mix from his good draw. Go close. DANCING GODDESS (7) was held up for a run 5.4m 4th to Scratch Me Happy in 2095m Penrith C4/C5 Nov 27, at $1.70 fav and subsequently spelled. Indicated fitness when 1m 2nd to Days Of Our Lives in 2130m Bathurst CO trial Mar 30. Treat warily. NO MALICE ALICE (10) chimed in with her customary late finish but forced wide in straight for 6.3m 4th to Canasta Shannon in 2120m Dubbo C2/C5 Apr 2. Hard to go past. SCOOTING ARMBRO (4) failed to settle and run was a lot better than it appeared when 8.9m 2nd to Rockets Reject in that same race last week. Previously had romped in at Junee in a much weaker race. Obvious danger. NOT SO BAD LEA (5) was caught three wide early but continued surge to land short head win from Nullify in 1720m Dubbo C0 Apr 2. Did land 2.9m win from Mymax in 2095m Penrith C0/C1 Mar 12. This class is slightly tougher but still remains the one to beat. RUSTY GATE (8) has been in great fettle this term winning three of past four including commanding 17.9m win from Elakasa Oceanstorm in 2120m Dubbo C1/C3 Apr 2. Obvious danger and drawn to give this a big shake. SLICK BROMAC (9) swamped rivals in straight after being wide in middle stages to land half neck win from King Courage in 2120m Dubbo C1/C3 Apr 2. Did record handy 4.4m win from Minute maker in 2130m Bathurst 3A0+ Mar 23. Rates highly. STORMY WARRIOR (5) was back in winners circle to land 2.3m win from Rhianna River in 2147m Leeton 3R0/3R2 Mar 21 then proved that win was no fluke to land 2.4m from Equivocal in 1720m Dubbo 3A0/3A2 Apr 2. Expected to run well again. BOURGEOISIE’s (11) only blemish in past five attempts was 10m 6th to Roman Stride in 2130m Bathurst 3A0+ Mar 28. Did reel off a slick mile rate to win at Menangle last month. Don’t discard. WRECK TANGLES (4) has been racing easier class but hard to knock winning form and include on 4.6m win from Design in 2000m Temora R0 Apr 4. Cannot be taken lightly. Against her own sex here is expected to prove a tough nut to crack. CANASTA SHANNON (11) overcame an identical horror draw to cruise to 4m win from Ilika in 2120m Dubbo C2/C5 Apr 2. Doesn’t mind doing the tough yards but is likely to be seeing them all in the opening exchanges. LOCKTON LOADED (9) didn’t have much luck from deep peg trail when 16.5m 3rd to Foolish Kiss in 2120m Dubbo C2/C5 Apr 2 since gaining late split in straight for runaway 3.6m win from Miss Adriana in 2300m Menangle C4/C5 Mar 3. She’s been thereabouts against some smart types past couple and will be hard to beat. SAME ACTION (3) is an honest mare who won here three starts ago after leading. She only battled away first-up when 3rd here on Monday but should be improved for that hitout. MATTS HORSE (4) finished it off strongly to win here last time and must be considered with a repeat, while REAM (7) trailed the leader before beating a handy field at Pt Pirie last week and is worth thought for the exotics. This is tougher but she cannot be left out of calculations. FIVE STAR JASPER (7) won first-up at Mt Gambier after leading. The time was a slow 2:07.9 but you have to respect anything that comes here from the Tony Pullicino stable. ONE ACE WONDER (8) is very consistent and fought on OK after leading at Mildura last start. He’s worth an each-way ticket again, while THEGREEN KNIGHT (10) has the draw against him but ran a good race when 2nd here last time. Raced deep without cover from the bell and still too strong. From the pole two weeks ago LIVINITUP (1) had to work hard out in front and eventually was beaten 20.5m Rabahero over 1800m here. That followed 4.2m 3rd Mega Haul 2230m mob a week early where also led from the front. Biggest threat but will need things to go his way from wide gate is MEGA HAUL (6) who is racing in good form. He was first-up since September when making up some ground at Globe Derby a couple of weeks back. The front row also has a couple of strong contenders in the form of DOCTOR TEN CC (1) and DREAM LADY (3). DOCTOR TEN CC can certainly feature in the finish from the suitbable draw, while DREAM LADY won well when resuming and could be the leader here. CASTLEMARA (5) is a place chance. His recent efforts read pretty well, including a pair of thirds behind Historic Drive and Clarenden Serene. Three starts ago he beat NOBODY WANTS ME (2) and that horse could again be a danger here. He rarely wins but can take up a handy position from the good draw. Keep an eye on HART TO HEAVEN (3), who was a good winner here when resuming two starts back and also KEEP SECURE (8), who is another infrequent winner but can get a nice trail. EGOLI (6) and ENLIGHT (7) are both getting close to wins but aren’t helped by the draw, while LIVE FOX (1) improved to win at Whyalla last start in a weaker race. She’s overcome wide draws at each of her most recent wins, including a neck victory over Rivergum Magic last week. Punters might steer clear of PREZ (2), who has cost them of late, but he is very consistent and has an ideal draw. PUAXTACY (6) disappointed when resuming and is capable of better, while HANNANS (8) is good enough to figure if he can get a friendly run from the inside of the second row. LOST KEYS (3) is a place hope. He was beaten into third as favourite last start but the breaks just didn’t go his way. Starting from the front is TAKE THE LOOT (3), who is always a chance despite her penchance for pulling hard during races. That was her undoing last time out, when she started off 50m and was beaten a neck by Dixies Wagon. SUNDONS PRIDE (5) has run well at two of his three local starts and is certainly in the mix here again, along with WILLIAMS KEY (7), GLORYS BOY (8) and POWER OF COOMA (10). A pretty open race being contested by a pretty even bunch. C5 to C7 PBD Mobile Assessment: ELYSEES CREST (3) has been battling to find her 21st career victory in recent starts but a win here is certainly within her capabilities. The draw will help and wouldn’t be surprised if she booted through to lead. The biggest danger would appear to be PICCOLO WIL WIL (8), who was an improver last time out when second behind Magic Technique from a tricky draw. With a handy trail here he can hold that form. PRINCESS NIFFE (1) put in her best local effort so far here on Monday - she’s worth some thought, although it’s now more than two years without a win. WHAT ABOUT (2) ran well enough without much luck here on Monday behind PICOLO WIL WIL and CULLENS HOPE (6) can feature but the wide draw and his most recent efforts don’t inspire a massive amount of confidence.
