He is the class runner of the field and looks hard to beat. TEQUILA SIPPER (3) is racing in outstanding form having won four of his past five starts, all in fast time. He is drawn to lead again and should take catching. MILLER (1) is a genuine sprinter, which finished fast to win in easier grade last outing. He is likely to end up trailing the leader TEQUILA SIPPER (3) and will be finishing solidly via the sprint lane. PERFECT PEGASUS (5) performed ordinarily against much easier mid-week grade last outing but he outstayed Destreos in the Anzac Day Gift three starts back so he is worth another chance. ABERCROMBIE MORGAN (4) gets a good draw with a concession claim and is a minor place chance. Other place hopes include CONNOR PATRICK (6) and MAD MEL (7). He is a handy sprinter and is drawn to trail the likely leader in OVER THE PHONE (2) so he is a winning chance via the sprint lane. OVER THE PHONE (2) is a mile specialist and finished a close up fourth behind the in-form pacer Tequila Sipper in a fast time of 1.56.4 on Saturday night. ULRICH (8) endured a tough run at the Gold Coast last outing and was placed behind Perfect Pegasus prior. He has a trailing draw behind PRINCE HUMPERDING (1) and is an each way chance via the sprint lane. VILLAGE THRILLER (7) didn’t have much luck last week and is a place chance along with COURAGEOUS CAM (9). He is an outstanding 4yo and is capable of overcoming the outside of the second line draw. CATCHMECULLEN (2) is racing in sensational form having won his past four starts, all in sub two minutes. This race is tougher but he is drawn to go close. TIPSY TOLLGATER (5) moved forward out three wide from the 1500m and was left stranded out deep on the track when a luckless tenth in the Qbred Triad Final last week. He is much better suited to a front line draw and is worth another chance. TOO SMART FOR YOU (6) left a trailing position to race without cover when second to Play The Line in the mares division of the Qbred Triad last week. She is awkwardly drawn but has too much ability to dismiss. HIGHLANDER CARL (1) has a good strike rate and BOSSYS HENRY (8) is a minor place hope. He is a very consistent pacer and should be competitive from his good draw. XILE (3) was seemingly struggling to find his best form in mid-week grade prior to a brave second in the Qbred Triad Final last week where he raced without cover throughout. He is a fast beginner and will take beating on his latest performance. PALADIN DREAM (1) is a genuine sprinter and is perfectly drawn to trail the leader and use the passing lane. HOLY CAMP BOY (7) is a speedy New South Wales pacer, which joins trainer John McCarthy and has won 16 of his 29 starts. He is widely drawn but finished second (nose) in a 1.56.5 mile at an Albion Park trial on Tuesday. BETAPIC (8) is another pacer from New South Wales that is racing in good form. She is awkwardly drawn on the inside of the second line behind a moderate beginner but is worth thought on an each way basis. ARK ALENCON (3) had every hope in the Qbred Triad Final last week but might be suited here with several horses expected to challenge for the early lead. GREEK TO ME (1), CAMBER LAD (2) and the former New South Wales pacer TED BUTLER (6) all possess gate speed and each are racing well enough to be competitive in this event. TED BUTLER (6) recorded a time of 1.56.5 when he beat Holy Camp Boy in an Albion Park trial on Tuesday. The former claiming pacer TAFFETTA BLACK (7) produced an astonishing performance when he raced on the outside of the leader CAMBER LAD (2) and got up to win in a brilliant mile rate of 1.56.9 (2180m) last week. That was a career best performance and he should take beating with a repeat effort. NAVAJO CANDY (9) finished quite well for fourth in the Qbred Triad last week and WOODLEA GLENN (8) raced without cover at his latest second at Redcliffe. MOTU ARMBRO SCOTT (9) ran a big race for second behind Hi Jinks at Albion Park mid-week and has been placed on several occasions since coming from Victoria so is ready to break through for a win. BLOWN BUDGET (8) bounced back to winning form when he defeated slightly easier opposition last outing. He is usually foolproof and is worth thought on an each way basis. CLEAR SKY LADY (1) won at her first run back from a long spell then began slowly at her latest fifth. She should be reaching her peak form and is a winning chance with a safe getaway. OPAL T J (2) had some support at longer odds and boxed on well for second to Im Mumbo Jumbo last week. This is a similar race and he is an each way hope again. CHEERS ROBBIE (7) is terribly drawn but will appreciate a big drop in class on his latest ninth in the Qbred Triad final. He is better than his numerical form suggests and must be respected. SIR ARAGON (9) also drops in class for this assignment and is worth an investment. STARS ARE BLUE (6) was runner up last week when he trailed the leader throughout. He should be fitter for that run and has a good record in claiming class. RIVERSDALE (3) has a good turn of speed and finished nicely for third to Brave Toli last outing. He looks well placed in this grade and is one of the leading chances. BLACK MAX (1) is a fast beginner from the mobile and will appreciate a drop in class on his latest efforts. He is the likely leader of the event and will take catching. CONCORDE (6) has done well after racing without cover at his past two starts and is capable of figuring in the finish. STAY WITH POPLAR (8) is rising in class on his latest Redcliffe claiming performances but is drawn to trail the likely leader in BLACK MAX (1) and will receive every chance via the sprint lane. This race is easier and she should prove hard to beat. GET HAPPY (10) finished fifth in the same race last week after she raced wide for the last 1200m and battled on quite well at the finish. She can be risky at times but has the ability to give this a shake. ARBIT CANDY (3) raced in the 3yo division of the Triad last week and finished nicely along the sprint lane for fourth. She has early speed and is not without a chance. DAVINABLE (2) has improved in every start since coming from New Zealand and is a minor place chance again from her good draw. He gets into this race with a concession claim and is a strong each way chance. STYX RIVER (3) is a brilliant beginner from the mobile and was placed behind the good mare Rich Heritage under similar conditions on April 14. He has the fast beginners GRAHAM WILLIAM (1) and STRATHFIRE (2) drawn on his inside but is still worth an investment. GOOD BOY DIESEL (7) is a very handy pacer when he is racing at his peak form. MOVEITMOVEIT (9) is a New South Wales pacer, which hasn’t won in 17 starts for the season but will find this race easier than his recent efforts.
