She has drawn beautifully for her first look under race conditions and looks hard to beat. RONZEL MAX (6) has been in fine form of late. He was a runaway winner here two back and then he made up good ground for a narrow second to Antsinyapants again on this circuit 15 days ago. He has a wide draw but he’ll be more than competitive in this. MASTER MASON (9) has been most consistent in his freshman season and even though he has the back row draw to contend with he should be thereabouts again. Rough chances go to COVERED IN INK (5), EQUITY CHIP (7) and DAKOTA REBEL (8). SELECTIONS: SILVERSALLY (1), Ronzel Max (6), Master Mason (9), Equity Chip (7) RATINGS: 1,6/ 9/ 5,7,8/ 2,3,4 SUGGESTED BET: Flexi Trifecta 1,6,9/ 1,5,6,7,8,9/ 1,5,6,7,8,9 (Cost $20, which gives 33.33%) 9 62738 MASTER MASON Leigh Sutton Fr 9.00 Nathan Jack (C) Fr 10.00 Todd Matthews Fr 8.00 2 Mallee Bakery Pace 12.59 1790m. $5000. The best of those appears to be MAX SMART (10). He found the line strongly here three back behind Sound Impact and at his latest effort he had a nice trip behind the leader Our Madagascar and battled on ok for second. His form is good enough to win this but the query is the draw over the sprint trip. AILRON (11) couldn’t have drawn worse but he is racing well. He ran second in good time here two runs ago after leading then didn’t have the best of luck when down the track to Our Madagascar. He will need luck but he has a chance. Best of the better drawn runners is SHRUNK IN THE WASH (3) who wasn’t a bad run for third on this track to Righnrong from a tricky draw. He should be competitive in this along with BOHDANS CHANCE (4), TENANSIX (9), and SPORTS EXPRESS (2). She had reasonable Broken Hill form prior to that and in an even race she should run well. MEGA REVIVAL (3) ran her best race of the season last start when she led and held on ok for second behind Rightnrong over this trip. If she reproduces that effort she will be hard to beat in this. WRATH OF PAIN (10) had his chance when fourth behind Our Madagascar last time out and has drawn the back row but this is easier and he should be running on with other chances going to the South Australian visitor CHLOES GIRL (11), MONEY AGENT (5) who is first up in this area for the new stable and MILLIONDOLLARSMILE (4) has gate speed and was a good Nyah winner three runs ago. He didn’t have the best of luck when fifth behind the flying Galvin Street here two runs ago then he did a stack of work outside the leader and battled on well for fifth again to the handy mare Ivana Trump on this track last week. He’ll race handy to them again and be hard to beat. TEMPORAL (2) has been disappointing this season but she gets her chance to improve from the ideal alley and she looks the leader. PETITEAS (8) ran the race of her life last time when parking out and running second to Broadway Starlet and a repeat of that will see her go close in this. Rough hopes go to ACES LOADED (4), CRYSTAL ALBERT (5) and LORD ARAGON (7). She scored twice at Broken Hill by big margins before she did some early work from her second row draw and ran away with a strong victory here 15 days ago. She has drawn a touch wide but she should push forward and race handy and is the one to beat. BROADWAY STARLET (6) led and found VILLAGE KARMA (5) to strong on this circuit two runs back then she had a nice run and sprinted away to score easily here last week. She leaves the gate swiftly and may find the lead and rates highly. CHEER ME (8) hit the line hard for second to BROADWAY STARLET (6) here last week and if the speed is on she may be the blowout. The only query is his gate speed as this is the first time he has drawn the front row since coming from New Zealand. THE GUARDIAN (4) has been placed his past two here behind Galvin Street in quick time and Ivana Trump last week both times he has led and handed up so that may cause problems for OUR SAND FLY (1) should he cross early. LOMBO SOCIALITE (10) did it hard outside the lead and held on well for second to Goforzoe at Ararat last start and will be hoping for a bit of speed early to offset her bad draw. He led and was narrowly beaten here two back behind the smart Dhoni then he flew home from last and just failed to reel in OUR CRUSHERDUST (7) in fast closing fractions. He has drawn nicely and is a clear top pick. OHOKA GEORGIA (10) held on well for third to Dhoni after doing early work then led and won comfortably here last week. No such luxury this time with the draw going against him but if the speed is on he’ll be getting home hard and is the main danger to this favourite. OUR CRUSHERDUST (7) is racing well and although he has drawn awkwardly on the inside of the second line he can feature in the finish with a touch of luck. CAMPBELL WALLACE (1) has been thereabouts lately and from the nice draw he should be prominent throughout and is capable of causing an upset. He worked hard outside the leader here last time and went down fighting to Trinita Road over the sprint trip. He has drawn widely but the extra distance should suit him and he looks a good each way bet in the last. SHAKA SPIRIT (4) had his chance after leading here a week ago but this looks no harder and he should go close to leading again. TARLETON LEE (1) has been freshened for this, he didn’t run a bad race for second behind AUSPICIOUSOCCASION (11) last start after trailing the leader and that looks a likely scenario again from the ideal draw. 9 36575 WRINKLE KNUTT 10 s74s7 FIVE OLD TELLERS 11 61125 AUSPICIOUSOCCASION Leigh Sutton Fr 6.00 Jason McGinty Fr 26.00 Brian Sylvia Fr 13.00 Glenn Douglas Fr 8.00 PADDY MOREAU (2), BECCASGEM (8), WRINKLE KNUTT (9) and AUSPICIOUSOCCASION (11). She trailed the leader and had her chance for second to Sunrose Mary at Kilmore two back then she broke and lost all chance here 11 days ago. Tough draw but this isn’t a hard race to win. ONLY MCCOOL (6) is first up from NSW with a third four runs ago at Menangle her best effort of late. She too is awkwardly drawn but in a race lacking depth she must be considered. WHATA SPRING (11) ran his best race for some time when he trailed the leader and held on ok for fourth to Roar Talent in fast time at Bendigo. Not as well suited from the second line but this is an easier assignment for him tonight. Rough chances go to LILBITABROWNSUGAR (3), BUZZ LIGHTNIN (5) and ANNOYER (7). He bolted in at Canberra two runs ago then he was a close up fifth behind Our White Knight in a strong race at Cobram. He’ll appreciate the class drop and has drawn nicely. BARON KINLEY (6) battled on for fourth two runs back to the smart Azumah Mazasha at Geelong then was outclassed by some really good ones at Yarra Valley in blistering time. He has drawn widely over the sprint trip but he too will relish the drop in grade and has a strong place chance. ROLLIN THUNDER (7) has picked up his form his past two and despite the wide draw he is a must for the multiples along with DALLAS RUBEN (4) who is second up tonight and he would have taken benefit from his first up fourth at Kilmore. He has drawn perfectly and will appreciate the drop in grade. His main danger will be ISLAND BRAVE (4) who has been in fine form this season. He hit the line hard for fourth in a strong Cobram affair two runs ago. He has good gate speed and is a good chance of finding the top here. PARASITE (6) sat outside the speed and battled it out strongly for second to the smart Triple Vance last start at Kilmore. He’ll have to do work again from his draw but he should be in the finish. He draws nicely here and if he finds the lead he will be the one to beat. GUS WITHERSPOON (10) found the line strongly behind Jaydens Castle here two back in a heat of the Vicbred Super Series then was outclassed from a poor draw in the Semi Final at Moonee Valley. He meets a good line up again but he rates highly. LEICITSAFE (8) was an easy Yarra Valley winner last time after leading but has come up with the inside of the second row this time round and he will need a little bit of Lang magic to get him home. ALDERBARAN SWANNEE (11) is in fine form and is shooting for the hat trick of wins but has drawn poorly and will need plenty of luck to achieve the feat. She has been contesting heats of the Vicbred Super Series her past two and will appreciate the draw and the drop in class. RASPBERRY SPUR (2) made up a stack of ground for fourth behind the smart Dreams Of Heaven here two back then she showed abundant gate speed to lead and held on well for second behind The Way Holme in fast time at Bendigo. She may lead again here and is the only danger to the favourite. Minor place hopes go to SNAZZY INTEREST (3) and the trotter YANKEE BLUES (5).
