She went down narrowly at Kilmore then missed away from the stand but made up good ground to finish just behind the placegetters at Geelong. Well drawn and the mobile conditions will suit. ITS BILLIE HOLIDAY (2) has also been quite consistent this season without winning and from the ideal barrier draw and with Daryl Douglas in the sulky she is sure to race well again. IMAMUSCLESYANKEE (12) has plenty of ability but his manners let him down on occasions. He battled on well for third at Ballarat to Justachandon last time and if he trots all the way he can certainly win. Place prospect to MACUENROAD (4). Drawn a touch wider today but she has natural gate speed and should find the top again and will be hard to run down. THE GOLDEN LORD (2) found the line strongly in his heat behind HEALPEAK (7) and has drawn much more favourably today so he should acquit himself well. They look the top two with rough hopes to HEZANOPERATIVE (3) who was a distant second to AMAROOKA JAZZ (4) in his heat, SNAZZY INTEREST (5) was working home alright in her heat to run third to HEALPEAK (7) and the fastest heat winner HEALPEAK (7) should be thereabouts again but the poor draw is certainly against him. BEVSTUANMARYLU (7) created a big impression on debut when she was a runaway winner at Maryborough by more than 40 metres from a wide alley. She has again drawn poorly but she is obviously pretty smart and will be further improved. BALLANDELLA BABY (2) was placed behind the smart type Modern Girl at Moonee Valley back in March and hasn’t been far away in strong company since including a close up fifth to Loving Life Lombo in the Tatlow Final. She draws nicely and may be the value in the race. Big watch on the former Kiwi colt COURAGE L A (6) who was a Winton winner four back in good time and was just behind the placegetters in a strong race at Addington last start. I also give a chance to DICENEASY (5) who hit the line hard at Kilmore last start and will be fitter today. OLD WARANDYTE ROAD (12) couldn’t have drawn worse over the sprint trip but he is racing in career best form and is worth an investment. He was a strong second to It And A Bit at Maryborough in fast time two back then he led and found Island Brave just a bit too good at Echuca last time. If luck is on his side he’ll be in the finish. TINA ANTOINETTE (2) is a quality filly who resumes today. She hasn’t raced since finishing down the track behind Keppel Bay in the Australian Pacing Gold Final at Harold Park back in May last year. She was placed in a Shepparton trial late last month so she should be ready to do something first up and has drawn nicely. WHATACRACKER (9) won well last time at Shepparton and even though this is harder he follows out a good beginner and can go on with the job. Many other hopes including ALPHA BABE (3) who was a good second on debut and has gate speed. He was a tough second here two back behind Our White Knight in a heat of the Super Series then he was outclassed behind Villagem in a Semi Final of that series at Moonee Valley. He has a nice trailing draw today and will relish the drop in class. His main danger will be BYTHELOT (11). He’s a lightly raced five year -old with plenty of ability. This fellow scored easily at Echuca two runs ago from an awkward alley then had his chance for second behind Our Ellas Fella at Geelong. He has a good turn of speed and will be charging home at the finish. They rate clearly ahead of the well drawn LOOPY LULU (1) who was a good winner here three runs ago and draws favourably, THRUTHEBIGSTICKS (6) wasn’t a bad run when fourth to BYTHELOT (11) at Echuca three back. He draws perfectly today and he should have enough speed to hold the top and be very hard to run down. Giant pacer VINTAGE JAG (7) looks the main danger on the strength of his tough deathseat victory at Shepparton two runs ago in fast time. He’ll have to work again from the draw but he is strong and can make his own luck. GOFORZOE (8) has drawn to follow out the likely leader in PARASITE (1) and he may be the blowout in the affair via the passing lane. REBECCA DON (3) is consistent and can place from her good drawn. He finished hard along the pegs for third two back at Shepparton behind Vintage Jag then beat all bar a flying Coastal in a fast 1.57.3 mile at Geelong. He draws badly here but with the expected speed early he can run over the top of them. SACRE COEUR (6) has been racing extremely well of late from the stand. He led all the way at Kilmore two runs ago and the last mobile run he had he showed good gate speed to lead and ran a good third to ISLAND STORM (11) at Bendigo five runs back. LOMBO SOCIALITE (9) has been racing in fine form of late and she can be dangerous from the good trailing draw along with TIPPEDINTOOMUCH (7) if he gets some luck from his wide alley. He should find the lead here from his good draw and will be hard to catch. His main danger will be the poorly drawn ISLAND BRAVE (7). This fellow overcame a tough second row draw to score a death seat win at Echuca last start and a repeat performance will see him in the finish here. SONNY STONE (6) finished off well last week to cause an upset, but can mix his form. BROADACROSSTHEBEAM (2) is suited to the stand start and should get a good run. MASTER MAORI (9) will appreciate the smaller field from the back mark. RAYLEIGHS CROWN (7) is going to find it hard from the handicap. PINKSTWOTTER (6) didn’t get a great deal of luck last start, but needs to find his old form to be in the finish. SELECTIONS: JOSHUA ROBERT (5), Royal Don (3), Sonny Stone (6), Broadacrossthebeam (2) SUGGESTED BET: JOSHUA ROBERT (5) each way EXOTIC BET: Trifecta 3,5 / 2,3,5,6 / 2,3,5,6,9 ($20 flexi = 83.3%) 7 Pace 1 327r4 COOL KITTEN 2 60s42 MAMMALS ROCKET 3 55739 YANKEE PIN STRIPES 4 25s41 PREMIUM RED 5 s5648 SO WHATSITALLABOUT NZ 6 55fs7 RIVER FRANCO 7 55628 ACES TO RIP Second Line 8 31116 AURORA SWIFT 9 26499 GOLDEN MARKET (ODM) 9.30 Q4 2160m. $8000. 3A0 to 3A1 3yo PBD Mobile M K Hawke (C) Fr 41.00 M J Reese (C) Fr 13.00 S J Turnbull Fr 34.00 M Doltoff Fr 2.50 G W Bennett Fr 11.00 R P Morris (C) Fr 31.00 J N Douglass (C) Fr 21.00 A J Turnbull (C) Fr ?2.10 A R Bertwistle Fr 26.00 Assessment: PREMIUM RED (4) gets his chance to bounce back onto the winners list after drawing the front line. He’s back a long way in class and should prove hard to beat. AURORA SWIFT (8) was disappointing last week despite having to work hard. She needs a touch of luck from the draw, but the small field helps. So WHATSITALLABOUT (5) hasn’t shown anything special in his four runs in Australia, but this is not an overly strong race. GOLDEN MARKET (9) is not the same horse as last season, but is a place chance in a race like this. MAMMALS ROCKET (2) should get a good run from the draw and is a place chance. COOL KITTEN (1) is still a maiden, but the pole draw will be a massive advantage here. Despite racing older horses, she looks to have a class edge and is drawn to dominate. SURFER DUDE (1) is consistent without winning regularly. He has drawn perfectly and should get the run of the race from the pole. GERBER (3) is first up from NZ and should not be too far away. Watch betting closely. Shez Serene (5) rarely runs a bad race and is a place chance here. ERNEST HANOVER (9) has not been too far way since coming to NSW and should get a nice run from the draw. POSITIVE THOUGHTS (6) is a place chance, but will need a lot of luck from the draw.
