Hard to go past. KEILOR TRADER (8) pulled hard to front and given his head when he raced to a 2.4m win from My Mackadoo in 2030m Newcastle C2 Jun 20. Has a win over the smart Sharp Maxie and looks obvious danger. ACES TO RIP (5) made light work of wide gate to land 3.1m win from So Whatsitallabout in 2160m Harold Park 3A0/3A1 Jun 12. Expected to be around the mark again. NEWYORKA LOMBO (2) was rewarded for a strong of placings when racing outside the leader to land 1.5m win from Lombo Solitaire in 2030m Newcastle 3A0 Jun 18. Going great guns and will give this a shake. CHRISTIAN TROY (7) stuck on well to finish 1.7m 2nd to Steel Burg in 2030m Newcastle C0 Jun 20. Looks winner again. PURR FECT UNICORN (6) resumed when making pace and battled on keenly in straight to finish 5.8m 2nd to Harry True Star in 1609m Newcastle R3/R5 (1:58.2) Jun 18. Locally prepared entire who will make presence felt at some stage. Each-way. KIEWA VALLEY (3) came from a long way back along pegs to finish right over the top of rivals and land 3.9m win from My Mackadoo in 2030m Newcastle C2 Jun 6. Harder this time but has to be included in the mix. HAYDENS COMET (7) ran home fairly when 3.4m 3rd (of 10) to Jana Lass in 2030m Newcastle C5/C7 Jun 20. RADIANT STORM (11) did some work and stuck to his guns when 2nd to ELLJAYS MISS (13) here on Saturday and shouldn’t be far off them again. ELLJAYS MISS broke through for an upset win here on Sat and has claims with repeat, while former Victorian BALLYCOTTON (4) sat outside the leader on SA debut when strong winner here. He struggled at two Vic runs but this suits. Rate him highly. MANHATTEN BRIDGE (8) won a claimer here four runs back and wasn’t suited last Sat when never in the hunt. He’s a good each-way hope, while JASPERS FLASH (9) worked home OK first-up in a slick 1:58 rate last time and only needs a cosy run to be running home hard. HILTON ADONIS (10) won a claimer two starts back and can never be left out of calculations this class, while AWESOME ALBA (7) could sneak into a place with some luck from wide gate. He should have won The Holmfield with any luck three starts back and will take a power of beating here from the nice draw. CHIPMONT LAD (2) has been racing well in Melbourne and he was driven off the speed for a soft win in the The Holmfield at Moonee Valley last time. He was impressive winning at Bendigo on Tuesday night against the older, albeit inferior, horses. He doesn’t possess early speed but should be nice and handy throughout and looks a major factor from the nice barrier. AFTANOONDELTE (9) is a quality filly who looked beaten before lifting to grab a narrow win in last week’s Oaks. She has a good record and the talent to match and don’t underestimate despite the second row draw. Any speed will bring her right into the race. OUTMUSCLE (5) is a smart former Kiwi who was a Shepparton winner at his local debut before returning to winning form at Kilmore last time in soft fashion. He’s the unknown quantity at this level but is drawn to push forward and must be respected. BULL MCCABE (1) is perfectly drawn and he has been good since coming back to SA winning his past two. This is a very sharp class rise but he can figure if driven quietly like his Moonee Valley win four starts back. UNBUNDLED (6) was a Geleong winner three starts back and could run into the multiples. He can get out quick and would be hard to beat in front. LORENZO BROMAC (2) has struggled to break through this time in after dominating last campaign. He ran home strongly behind Village Pop last week in a quick final half. He’s much better drawn tonight, but isn’t renowned for a slick beginning and might need to work hard to get into the race. CULLEN’S HOPE (8) hasn’t won since February, but continues to be well supported in recent runs. Harding will have options from the draw and the horse will likely look the winner at some stage. The last run of OHOKA DAKOTA (4) a fortnight ago was queried by stewards after he dropped out late. He’s won 10 of 16 this season and is a leading player, although this looks a little tougher than he’s faced. GALVIN STREET (3) won at Mildura in May and ran a place on June 17 behind Wattabout Jasper beaten nine metres. His overall form looks a notch below these, but he has place claims. Ryan Hryhorec will ride TAKE THE LOOT (3) who was placed in a recent trial and Hryhorec was a touch unlucky in the corresponding race last year. FERNUDGE (7) contested this race last year and was held-up last start. WILLIAMS KEY (9) is a last start winner here in good style while KEYTOTHEPARK (4) is knocking on the door in similar class and has Ewen aboard while Dani HIll and THE MAN HIMSELF (1) look well suited from the draw. Only a head and a neck in SUNDONS PRIDE’s favour have separated the pair in the two legs but CRESCENT GLORY has the better of the handicaps here - he starts off 30m again but SUNDONS PRIDE is out to 20m. That may give CRESCENT GLORY an edge and he ought to be at peak fitness at his fifth run since a four-month break. SOL INVICTUS (5) was third behind the pair in the Joe Coulter Trot and again starts off the front here. He could potentially give them something to chase down here after an ordinary outing in the first leg. The same applies to OLLIE NOVA (3) if he steps safely. TRAPPER BOB (7) and GLORYS BOY (4) should both be thereabouts, while MAIN ARTERY (6) and BOLD MOVER (9) could both be considered if they trot all the way. He’s no star, but is building a strong overall record and should go close. PREZ (10) has been a model of consistency this time in, but tends to go best in front. He tried hard, off a similar draw, in a stronger race last week beaten 10m by promising pacer Mcgintysgoat. VIRGINIA STORM (6) rarely runs a bad race, but his winning strike-rate isn’t encouraging and the draw will test. TIBETAN RULER (9) wasn’t firing on all cylinders before a let-up and will need to have improved significantly to figure here. PACIFIC LIGNUM (4) puts in more often than not and has claims, while RIDENUWIN (1) has drawn to fill a place. The question marks on her would be the drop back in distance (as it is for every runner) and the wide gate. Given those factors she’ll need to step well and step quickly, which hasn’t always been the case. Drawn immediately inside of her is GLADYS EMANUEL (6), who will likely start well in the market based on her last few efforts. Similarly, she’ll likely need a good getaway to be a real contender here. BRAS DHONNEUR (2) has OK Victorian form without winning. STARTONSCRATCH (1) went poorly on Monday but the pole could be a big advantage here. BELLA CRKVA (3) has only one win from 49 starts but is a place proposition. LASTINGIMPRESSIONS (9) is the other who looms as hope but it looks a tricky assignment from this draw. He drops to claiming class and should take plenty of beating. ANITOM (7) is poorly drawn but drops back in class after a placing behind Myrniong Rager last week. He gets his chance. BLUECHIP HOLMES (5) is racing very well and broke through for a deserving win last time when too good for Missile Lavros. He will be thereabouts. IM GAUCHO (8) is always thereabouts and he was a good winner over Roycie last time after working to the brezze midrace and dominating. EASY MONEY (3) was a good winner here three starts back and he wasn’t far away after making a mistake last time. SALVIDAR (2) is nciely drawn and was a Port Pirie winner three starts back and is worth some thought. MY FRENCH ATOM (1) was close-up at his SA debut at Port Pirie and is nicely drawn. He could be the surprise. SELECTIONS: BLUECHIP HOLMES (5), My Man Sunshine (6), Im Gaucho (8), Saldivar (2) TONIGHT TONIGHT
