He looks well placed here and looks ready to win. CLOSE SHAVE LOMBO (2) has good gate speed so will be the early leader. Has won his two 3-y-o races so is well placed here. He ran a very good race last time after being knocked over early. Each way. MURPHYS ROCKET (7) is never far away, the draw against him here but the small field helps. Good place chance. KILFENORA (1) is drawn to get an easy trip. Ran a good race here last week. Finds it hard to win but must be included in the multiples. DUST UP (5) is racing well without having any luck. Drawn a little awkwardly here in a strong CO but could fill a place with the right trip. SAPPHIRE ISLAND (6) has a rough place hope but include in the first four. Of the raced youngsters, DICENEASY (4) looks the pick. He has been placed behind some very talented horses and gets a good chance to break through today. TAIKURI (2)(Elsu-Voodoo Lombo) has been trialling well with a few 2nd placings in good trials so looks ready to run a good race. THAT’S LIFE LOMBO (3)(Life Sign- Mumstheword Lombo) has been getting better with each trial and won a recent Kilmore trial very impressively. He has drawn well so will go close. Stable mate’s OCEAN RIDER (1)(Embrace Me-Opus Fantasy) & FERGUS MACCOOL (7)(DM Dilinger-Exotic Love) went OK in a recent Echuca trial. MISTER REGGIE (9)(Village Jasper- Highland Special) has only been battling at the trials. KEYSTONE QUEST (10) has been racing well but is a risk at the stand start but most of these are. Good 2nd behind a handy trotter last start. Will need a bit of luck from the back line but racing the best of these. MAKE THE CUT (9) is the query runner. First start for the Kerryn Manning stable and has plenty of ability. He has shown plenty of talent at the trials but has broken at each race start. MEGS CLASSIC (1) is well drawn but made an error early here last week before making up plenty of ground. EL PELIGROSO (4) showed good manners and got a good trip when he dead heated here last week with BUNTYS BASS (2). He also trotted well and got to the line strongly. He was only beaten a head when 3rd at Moonee Valley last start in a stronger race than this. He has drawn ou,t but is tough enough to overcome that. THRUTHEBIGSTICKS (9) should get a nice run through from this trailing draw and be up in the action. He wasn’t far away last start when 3rd in fast time and looks a good chance again. Closed very fast last week and the front line is more suitable this evening. PALEFACE JASPER (4) went especially well last week when first up from a spell and looks hard to beat here. EXTREME STATURE (7) defeated BORIS BADENOV (5) with the help of a great drive from Wayne Innes, last start, but this assignment has been made harder because of the wide draw. JASPER THAT (9) hasn’t been too far away in recent starts and should get a good run throughout. FARSALA PRINCE (8) is very promising, but will need to be at his best. SPUR ON MICHAEL (6) is very speedy and the short course is his best trip, but note he is up in class. GOTTA AVA ROLL (10) has performed well since coming to Sydney. The 10 metre handicap should not be a concern. SUNNY STONE (5) has been racing consistently and should be in the finish again, but can do things wrong. PINKSTWOTTER (6) is starting to find some form and is not badly treated from the 20 metre handicap. JAZZ LEGEND (8) is the backmarker, but the small field makes his 40 metre impost easier to make up. JOSHUA ROBERT (3) is capable of winning, but has been on his worst behaviour at his past two starts. Age is starting to get the better of MASTER MAORI (7) and he will need to improve on recent efforts. BROADACROSSTHEBEAM (1) is a place chance from the front line.
