This race is no harder and he will be strongly fancied to win again. YELLOW ROSES (2) finished a distant second to Artorius last outing but beat the rest of the field by just as far and looks to be a strong Quinella chance again from her good draw. SCENTED (8) is awkwardly drawn on the inside of the second line but endured a tough run when a handy second at Yarra Valley last week and is a place chance again. ROSE EXPRESS (1) had to be driven hard to hold the lead in the early stages of her latest fourth at Kilmore and is drawn to receive every chance. He drops back to a second line draw now but will make his presence felt. KELLYS NIPPA (6) was just as impressive when he pushed forward mid-race to gain the position on the outside of the leader at Maryborough and won by a big margin. He won the Tontine Final three starts back and must be respected. FLEETWOOD BLUE (1) pushed forward to lead mid-race and dashed well clear in the latter stages to win at Maryborough last time. She is still learning but continues to improve with the benefit of racing and is one of the leading chances again. That was her first effort since May and she should be a lot sharper from that performance. KEPPEL BAY (2) was forced to work hard and tired in the Australian Oaks but finished strongly to grab victory in the A.J Prendergast Oaks trial prior. The multiple classic winning filly is perfectly drawn and should run a forward race. WHOD YOU WANTMETOBE (1) hasn’t started since a distant fourth in the Princess Of The Wimmera at Horsham but won the Gold Chalice in January so is capable of mixing it with this class. LIFE INTHEFASTLANE (7) didn’t have the best of luck in the Australian Oaks and recorded a strong victory over Intuitional (won since) at Kilmore prior. He won his three races prior including the Tontine Final so he is worth another chance. SHOOT THE DICE (1) restrained to last from a wide draw and never threatened when seventh at Ballarat but finished second behind the smart pacer Tear It All Away prior and is worth another chance. STRIKING THUNDER (8) was wide from the 700m and boxed on gamely for third behind Spider Nelson last time. He has the perfect trailing draw and is worth thought on an each way basis. He worked home strongly to beat a good field at Tabcorp Park last outing and looks well placed here. TICKLE THE FALCON (7) is terribly drawn over the sprint distance but finished solidly for seventh (5m) at Moonee Valley last outing and beat the handy filly Golden Showgirl at Kilmore prior. DEE EM DIVA (6) is capable of sprinting to the line quickly with the right trail forward and scored at Geelong in May. She is widely drawn but is not without a chance. AMAROOKA JAZZ (2) won twice in June then broke when leading two starts back. He won at his previous two attempts and is one of the leading chances again. DANCE WITH ARMBRO (4) was headed off at the start, circled the field to race without cover, and battled on bravely for a game third at Kilmore last outing. He is a strong type and is ready to break through for a win. OUR CRUSHERDUST (3) chased hard but couldn’t peg back the smart pacer Boris Badenov at Harold Park last outing. He has early pace and should be prominent throughout. DREAMAWAY VOGUE (6) came wide into the straight and finished fast when a close second to Intuitional last outing. She won the Princess Of The Wimmera at Horsham three starts back and is drawn to trail the likely leader so she is clearly the main rival to DREAMS OF HEAVEN (1). MAKE MINE CULLEN (12) is terribly drawn but comfortably won a heat of the Grand Slam on her Victorian debut then finished well via the sprint lane when second to Hollywood Bromac in the Final. This race is much easier and he is drawn to go close. JACCKA DUDE (8) is rising in class on his latest claiming victory but is drawn to trail the likely leader and should receive every chance via the sprint lane. FRANCOIS (9) finished strongly for third at Ballarat last outing and is a place chance again from his likely position of being three back on the markers. LIMIT LESS (2) is a tough type, which missed out narrowly at Warragul prior to an eighth at Tabcorp Park. He will be suited by the good draw on the front line and is worth thought on an each way basis. PETES ELECT (7) is a durable type, which has been placed at his past five starts and is capable of overcoming the outside of the front line draw. He led and ran along at a genuine tempo when second under similar conditions at Horsham on June 29 and is capable of going one better here. VEE SALUTE (12) was unplaced in a heat of the Victoria Derby then led throughout at Charlton last time. He drops back to a 10m handicap now but is still worth thought. BUTTON BRIGADE’s (9) past three starts have been in the Victoria Derby series so he will appreciate a big drop in class and should improve on his numerical form. SWINGALONG BING (1) (Keystone Crosby – Calypso Queen) is a first starter for trainer Alan Chadwick, which has had an extensive trial campaign with the latest effort yielding a close second to Cudgee Ada at Terang. BALTIMORE BOY (4) and MOSQUITO BELIEVER (5) both are minor place hopes in the event. SELECTIONS: MALS IMAGE (10), Vee Salute (12), Button Brigade (9), Baltimore Boy (4) RATINGS: 10/ 9,12/ 4,5/ 1?
