He recorded victories at Horsham and Cranbourne in August and will appreciate a drop in class on his latest second so he must be respected. THREE BLADES (7) is shooting for a hat trick after victories at Ballarat and Kilmore. He moved up on the outside of the leader Jilliby Bartel mid-race and outstayed that pacer last time so he is tough enough to overcome a wide draw. HIGHVIEW BABE (4) is a former South Australian mare that joins trainer David Murphy. She has only won once from 21 career starts but was runner up in a recent Ballarat trial (2.4.6MR) so she is a minor place possibility against this line up. BEACH SHAKER (2) was slowly away and picked up some ground in the latter stages when fifth on debut. He should have improved by the experience of that run and is a place chance in this line up. TRES HOMBRES (5) is racing well enough to be considered in multiple combinations and MY GEORGIE GIRL (8) could be placed despite being disappointing at Terang on Monday. RATINGS: 6/ 7/ 2,4/ 5,8 SUGGESTED BET: THE EVANGELIST (6) to win 2 Peach's Fruit Market Pace 7.30 1710m. $5500. The final quarter was run in fast time so she did well to finish as close as she did and she is capable of going one better here. TIBUR FINALE (3) has been placed at his past four starts with his latest two efforts being in a 3AO heat and final series at Bendigo. He possesses a good turn of speed and is likely to use the good barrier draw to his advantage. The query runner is the Tasmanian pacer MICKEY DELAHEY (2). He has been placed in all of his four starts and strikes a winnable race for his Victorian debut. NOAHRILEY (1) has been unplaced in all of his three starts since resuming from a spell but he hit the line strongly when an eye-catching fifth (2m) at Terang last outing. He is ideally drawn and is a winning chance if he repeats his latest performance. OUR NIGELL (5) showed early pace and gained the perfect run in front when a narrow second at Horsham last outing. He is a maiden from 25 attempts but has been placed in two of his past four starts and is a minor place chance again. ACEY GRACIE (8) has shown improvement in recent times and has been hitting the line solidly so she will be suited by her trailing draw. RATINGS: 7/ 1,2,3/ 5,8 SUGGESTED BET: Flexi Boxed Trifecta 1,2,3,7 (Cost $20, which gives 83.33%) 3 The Ad Group Trot 8.00 2200m. $5500. He worked hard and boxed on well as favourite last time so he gets his chance to go one better here. MALS IMAGE (5) has had a few chances lately but is a fast beginner from the mobile and finished third behind Maori Vacation and MISTER MALAKYE (3) last time. He has been placed in 10 of his 18 starts and is capable of adding to his consistent record here. DOCTOR SAM (4) only battled into fourth behind Sunshot at Kilmore last outing but finished sixth in the Breeders Crown Final prior. He was placed behind the smart trotter Down Under Muscles at Cranbourne last season so he is worth another chance. WINDY DAWN (7) was a winner under the mobile conditions at Charlton two starts back where he raced wide in the final lap and beat UNDENIED (2) and SOLANA (8). He missed away from the standing start last time and is worth another chance from behind the mobile. UNDENIED (2) has ability but is prone to making mistakes at this stage of his career and SOLANA (8) is trotting well enough to fill a place from his trailing draw. RATINGS: 3/ 4,5/ 7/ 2,8 SUGGESTED BET: Flexi Trifecta 3,4,5/ 3,4,5,7/ 2,3,4,5,7,8 (Cost $20, which gives 55.55%) 4 Peach's Fruit Market Pace 8.30 1710m. $5500. She had every chance last time but the final half recorded by Broadways Best was a brilliant 56.5 seconds and she strikes a much easier line up here. KAMWOOD TITAN (5) was driven hard in the early stages to find the lead and copped pressure mid-race when he ran a brave second in a 1.58.0 mile rate last week. He is a tough type and is likely to work to the front again so he is worth an investment. EASTWOOD COUNTESS (1) endured a tough run when unplaced at Geelong on Tuesday and battled on well for fourth (5m) behind the in-form pacer Mystical Jet prior. She is an honest mare and is worth a place ticket. HEEZA TOP DOG (3) was heavily supported but received a nice trail throughout and seemingly had his chance at his latest Ballarat fourth. This race is no harder so he could be placed. POWERFUL TYCOON (4) possesses early pace and led when second at Terang two starts back. He was held up for a run at a vital stage and gained a late inside passage when a distant second last time so he is a minor place chance again. RATINGS: 7/ 5/ 1,3,4 SUGGESTED BET: Flexi First Four 5,7/ 1,3,5,7/ 1,3,4,5,7/ 1,3,4,5,7 (Cost $20, which gives 55.55%) 5 Ken Ashmore Memorial Pace 9.00 2200m. $5500. She is very versatile and she is capable of completing three wins in succession. PICKLES PLEASE (9) worked out of the gate in the early stages, gained a trail from the 1200m and finished strongly to win in a fast 1.58.3 mile rate at Maryborough two starts back. He missed away from the standing start last time and looks better placed from behind the mobile this evening. LOVE MY FELLA (11) will be fitter for her two starts since April and will find this assignment easier than her latest tenth in a metropolitan bearing event. She can sprint to the line strongly with the right trail forward and rates as an each way chance. LOMBO SOCIALITE (2) was placed five times in succession prior to her latest unplaced performances at Charlton and Ararat. She is likely to end up being behind the leader and is a value chance. GO MILO (4) lacks early dash but should be finding the line strongly while the emergency TIS A CHARMER (1) and GENTLE FORCE (12) should be considered as minor place hopes. His past two efforts have been in tougher grade at Tabcorp Park and he finished well behind Karamboo three starts back. CLASSIC PLAYBOY (8) was unplaced when taking on the pacers in track record time at Ararat two starts back then finished fifth in a metropolitan event last week. He usually begins quickly from the standing start and looks better placed against this class. SPEEDY NAOMI (9) is a risky beginner from the standing start and finished eleventh after being slowly away last week. She did win from behind the tapes at Geelong in April and has the ability to figure in the finish if she gets away cleanly. SOSOCLASSY (5) returns to trainer Graeme Lang after an unsuccessful stint in New South Wales. She was placed behind Salute To Wagon in a recent trial at Kilmore then finished second in a Tabcorp Park trial so she is not without a place chance. FRODO HEST (1) has been placed in three of his past four starts and could be placed again from the pole position. CEDRIC SLICK (2) has been starting from big handicaps in recent times so he can run an improved race from his good draw on the front line. He chased home Our Malabar when a game second last week so he will find this race much easier. BENUCCI (6) showed rapid improvement when he was last in work and makes his debut for trainer Lance Justice. He hasn't started since a seventh in the Markovina Free For All in March but was placed in a recent Tabcorp Park trial effort and should be competitive against this line up. WATTABOUT JASPER (1) is a fast beginner from the mobile and led throughout to win at Moonee Valley three starts back. He tried hard for third to Ruby Dazzler last outing and is drawn to go close. DONTWANTANO (4) will be getting fitter after his two runs back from a spell and picked up many lengths after missing away from the standing start last time. He is a tough type and rates as an each way chance. MCLLHATTON (3) has been racing well at metropolitan level and possesses a powerful finishing burst. He led when second to the impressive New South Wales pacer Cant Bluff Me at Moonee Valley three starts back and is an each way chance in this event. TSUNAMI LOMBO (6) is a son of the champion mare Tailamade Lombo and was a big improver last season. He parked without cover and fought hard when challenged when a brave winner at Terang then held off The Gunstar after sprinting very fast at the start last time. He gets into this race with a concession claim and is the horse to beat. LIGHTING TWO UP (5) has built up an exceptional record since coming from New Zealand and accelerated nicely in the latter stages to pick up Moon Spirit when he won first up since April. He is very versatile and looms as the main danger to TSUNAMI LOMBO (6). CAPTAIN BROMAC (3) boasted strong credentials in New Zealand but has disappointed in his two Australian starts. He possesses gate speed and his form across the Tasman suggests that he is better than what he has produced in Australia to date so an improved effort would not surprise. FRANCOIS (1) has had several chances recently and lacks early pace but could sneak into a place. CHRISP (4) is meeting a strong line up but is worth thought in Trifecta and First Four combinations. BEST ON CLASS: MYSTICAL JET (Race 5 No.10) is an improved pacer, which is shooting for three straight victories. She gains a start in the C2-C3 event tonight with the aid of a Mares concession. BEST ON VIDEO: THE EVANGELIST (Race 1 No.6) trailed the leader but finished fast in a slick final quarter of 28.1 seconds when a game second to Mister GNP in the Graduate last week. Tonight's assignment is much easier and he will prove very hard to beat. BEST ON RECORD: WHODYOU WANTMETOBE (Race 4 No.7) won the Gold Chalice in January and has been placed in six of his nine starts against strong opposition. She was placed in a heat of the Breeders Crown last time and will take beating this evening. BEST ON TRIALS: BENUCCI (Race 7 No.6) makes his debut trainer Lance Justice and followed a Kilmore trial victory with a second in a Tabcorp Park standing start trial so he should be primed for a big first up run. BEST ROUGHIES: NOAHRILEY (Race 2 No.1) was held up for a run at a vital stage and finished solidly for an eye- catching fifth at Terang last week. He is perfectly drawn and rates as an each way chance. LOVE MY FELLA (Race 5 No.11) raced under metropolitan conditions when unplaced to Singasongasixpence last week and will find tonight's assignment much more suitable so she is a possible improver. DONTWANTANO (Race 7 No.4) is an underrated 6yo, which missed away from the standing start and picked up many lengths when eighth at Tabcorp Park last week. He is a durable type and rates as an each way chance.
