He was runner up in both heat and final of a C0 series at Cobram then he got knocked over but recovered to run a creditable fourth to Just Call Me Boy here last time out. He has a nice trailing draw tonight and looks the testing material. CONFETTI (1) was fifth in that same race mentioned above and from the pole draw over the sprint trip she ll be competitive in this. MASAI (2) was woeful here last time but his previous form was good enough to give him a strong each way chance tonight. They look the major players with rough hopes going to OUR SHAKIN CHANCE (3), GOOD KNIGHT SIR (6) and CHRISJEN WAVES (8). He was an arrogant winner at Kilmore first up in 1:58.5 then he parked out and looked to have them covered at Tabcorp Park but he may have knocked off when second to Tsunami Sloy. He has the extreme alley tonight but with normal luck he should account for these. JIMCRAIG (1) resumes from a break but he did trial nicely here last week ripping home his final half in 57.6. He draws perfectly and he has upset claims. NATIONAL GALLERY (3) (Artsplace -- Lils Dream) makes her debut for Danny Thackeray. She was a narrow second in the trial mentioned above and from her handy draw she can race well first up. MISSOURI LAD (5) did a few things wrong in the run but still blew his rivals away at Albury last time. He has since trialled well at Wagga and a forward showing is expected from this colt. He worked to front off 20m and never looked like getting beaten here three back, was a certainty licked at Moonee Valley two runs ago after making an early mistake then he was held up for a run but once clear he savaged the line in a 28.4 final quarter for fourth behind the ultra smart Don King at Tabcorp Park. There is some depth to this field but he is the benchmark. The rest might be fighting for minor money with strong place prospects going to the resuming SPORTS FANTASY (9) who has been trialling well on this circuit, LETS ENJOY (2), HEZA HERO (1), GROOVY BROMAC (8), PRETTYLILANGELEYES (5), OLD DANS BROTHER (3) and KYVALLEY MIRAGE (6). Two really strong hopes with a leader behind leader scenario very likely. SHARNELLA LASS (1) is in a purple patch of form and Steven Duffy has this mare low flying. She came from well back for a close up second behind the outstanding Bute Brother here last time in a blistering 1:56.3 for this trip. She ll lead comfortably from the ace alley and will be hard to roll. TAYARNA MIA (8) gets to be driven sit-sprint for the first time in ages. Fair to say she isn t going as well as she can but she might respond better off the speed tonight. Those two look a moral quinella with the next best being STEADY ARDEN (9) with the likelihood of her going three back the markers in a race that will be dominated by those on the pegs. SOLAR OPERATIVE (5) resumed with a handy third here six days ago after leading and although she won t get that luxury tonight she has trifecta and first four prospects. He does leave the mobile swiftly and should he be able to find the lead he will be the horse to beat. Ben Gledhill is in fine form too. ALBERT AUSTIIN (2) won a heat of a C1 series at Cobram two back then he held his own in the final for third behind Sharnella Lass after a peg trip in slippery final fractions. He ll get a nice run off the speed again tonight and he ll be dangerous in this. PACES FOR ACES (9) broke through for a well deserved win at Kilmore last start and from the good trailing draw he has a great run on chance. FRANCO SHUTTLE (8) draws awkwardly and will need some fortune but he is well up to winning a race of this calibre plus he gets in well with the claim for Moran. There should be reasonable speed on early and watch for her to be hitting the line hard once more. GOLD CAFE (6) bounced back into the winners list with a strong win here six days ago. The draw isn t flash but he is a tough type who may push forward and race on the pace tonight. NITROUS OXIDE (4) has ordinary form on paper but he is fresh up tonight and he did trial well at Kyabram recently. They look the main hopes with MASTER OPERATIVE (5), GLOBAL VILLAGE (10), GONE PEGGIN (1), ADVANCED CROSSING (11), SWIFT GLANCE (12) and LYDIAS LAD (7) all capable of causing a boilover. He trailed the leader and reeled off some dazzling splits to run down Magne at Ballarat last time and although he normally likes to lead in his races he ll more than likely take a sit on the speedster GALVERON (2). The passing lane will be his road to glory. AUBREY JAMES (9) went super at Tabcorp Park last start running fourth to the classy Mister Zion from a tricky alley. He will appreciate a genuine tempo tonight and he ll give this an almighty shake. BED SOCKS (3) beat GALVERON (2) here two back and she has an each way show in this tonight if she can get some cover. His run was terrific here last time and he draws well. STEPIN UP (5) has drawn the car park in all of her five runs to date. She found the line well from way back here last start and from the front row tonight she may be an improver. DO YOU KNOW (1) resumes from a four-month break and she hasn t been seen at the trials. He s been down the track in all three runs from a spell but draws perfectly in a winnable race. WHEELERS HILL (9) is an honest type who won four races last season and showed signs of an impending victory when a luckless fourth against better than these at Geelong last week. MARCHMONT DRIVE (5) followed claiming placings here and at Maryborough with a solid fifth after a wide trip at Bendigo last time and looks best of the others.
