He has gate speed and is possibly the leader. RISKETELLI (4) ran his first placing in eleven starts when shuffled to near last and finishing strongly to be beaten a nose at Nyah a fortnight ago and is an improver with each way claims. FIVE OLD TELLERS (2) was a dual three year old winner last season but hasn t fired in two starts this term. He draws nicely and would give this a shake if he found his best form. He covered ground when first up in this country and fifth here a month ago, then led and went too quickly when fifth against better than these at Charlton last time. LOMBO PHENOMENA (6) hasn t had much luck in recent times and wasn t far away after a wide trip in a stronger race than this here a month ago. This should suit. LADY DANCEALOT (2) is an honest mare who s resuming from a spell. She grades well on her best form and has the draw. WRINKLE KNUTT (9) won here back in September then lost form. He was badly held up with pace in a stronger race here last week and looks well suited in this easy race. SELECTIONS: HAYDEN SCOTT (8), Lombo Phenomena (6), Lady Dancealot (2), Wrinkle Knutt (9). RONZEL MAX (1) drew awkwardly on the second line and found trouble when resuming in that same race last week and will be the big improver from this alley. He s an honest gelding who won here as a two year old earlier this year. LETMEADAM (5) brought up his second victory when an all the way winner here a month ago, then ran a solid second (promoted from third) here last week where he hit the line well. That was from the second line and he draws to use his blistering gate speed this time. GREYGREY (1) led all the way to beat Smooth (winner since) before a tough Tabcorp Park country front victory and a luckless fourth from the second line here last week when flashing home to be beaten narrowly. From the pole, he ll be mighty hard to beat. EM JASPER (2) won twice here before disappointing at Nyah, then was wide in the last lap when a gallant second here last week. WELSH BEAUTY (3) is an ex-Kiwi who won a Timaru back in September and has finished solidly in both a Nyah fourth and Mildura third since coming here. She s a promising mare who s ready to win. He s led all the way in all three of those victories and was far too good for a similar field to this when producing a fast last split last week. He s even better suited by the sprint journey this time. MIAMI ROCKET (11) grades well at this level as a dual metro winner. Scoring at Harold Park in October, he s had no luck in four starts since, the most recent when fighting on well to be beaten just over a length into fourth place by Village Of Dreams in a blistering 1:57.8 middle distance affair at Bendigo last week. MASTER WARATAH (9) had been doing things wrong before finishing strongly to get within a head of Showdownatmidnight at Nyah a fortnight ago, that horse franking the form with an outstanding Bendigo victory last Monday. He s been coming from the second line and will appreciate seeing the mobile this time. STARCRAZY (4) looks ideally suited to this area. A former handy youngster, he s been showing speed but finding the class a bit hot in runs closer to town and since coming north, has won and been placed twice in trials on this circuit. OUR MAYLAN (8) won here in July, then was placed on this circuit before going for a spell. She draws to sit just off a pace and, a winner of three of her ten starts, she grades well at this level. GO TINKERBELL (1) made late ground when third here three starts back before having no luck from awkward draws at her latest two outings. She ll give some cheek this time from the pole. He hit the line nicely when third to Franco Ambassador at Geelong last Saturday night and in this small field, won t be far off the lead when they settle. TRACK N TRACE (7) hasn t had much go his way in recent times. A handy fourth here two starts back, he weakened after a tough trip last week at his first run for five weeks, will be fitter and looks nicely suited. MONTEROSSO (2) is a South Australian visitor who s won 13 of his 34 starts. A Globe Derby winner early last month, he ran a standing start third there before running into the fast class performers at his latest two outings. He has gate speed and draws to use it. She showed improvement when coming from well back for third here three starts back, then found trouble when fifth at Nyah before making late ground from miles back for fourth here last week. This looks her race. PARABADOO MAGIC (11) is an eight time winner who looks well graded in CO company. She won five races in SA last term and although drawn awkwardly, grades better than most of these at her first run since July. MERINDAH ROX (6) was placed twice on this circuit in September, then sent for a short break after disappointing at her latest start, a couple of months back. MACH CLASS (4) has had two runs back from a spell for a fourth at Tabcorp Park to Zenthura, then she again was just behind the placegetters once more at Melton in the race won by classy mare Brushgrovemachbest. She ll find this a touch easier and should be in the finish. He was making good ground late in a 27.9 final quarter and is worth the gamble today with the barrier draw advantage. DEVILISH SMILE (7) led them up in the same race mentioned above and proved too good. He has the 10m handicap today over the sprint trip, which will make it tough, but he will be a force. SATISFIED GRIN (5) did most of the work in that race to finish a close up third and he too has the edge over DEVILISH SMILE (7) under the handicap conditions. The first starters are MODERN STAR (1) (Modern Art -- Frans Beauty) for Greg Norman who was third in a Shepparton stand trial in 2:12.8, SHAKES GOLD (2) (Shakamaker -- Goldies Next) is with Sebastian Steenhuis and this filly was third in a Bacchus Marsh stand trial in 2:16.7 with her stable mate PROMISED CASH (6) (As Promised -- Cashmere Cate) running second in the same trial. He draws well and should go close. PRINCE OF ALL (7) has been placed his past four and is crying out to win another one. He had his chance for third at Echuca last time but this is an easier assignment wide barrier and all. WAIKARE SUN (9) is still learning all about it but he does have some ability.
