She should be at the peak of her powers now after those two outings and in a race of some depth she looks the best of them. DANGER: LEAVEMEIN (1) is an honest type who is always competitive in whatever she contests. She boxed on gamely to snare the silver medal behind Mister Gunsen at Bendigo last start after parking out and she can certainly go one better here with the ace alley a big plus. OTHERS: SUNDONS PROMISE (10) got it all wrong first up from a break at Cobram 9 days ago and ended up out the back behind Shes An Image, but she has since trialled most impressively at Bendigo where she slipped home in 58.4/28.5, so she is obviously going well enough to trouble these and only needs to go around safely to be a major player. RED HOT CHILLI (9) is still a maiden, but she isn t far off breaking through and she rounds out the four strong winning chances. PURPLEPEOPLEATER (8) is a Dream Vacation filly on debut for the astute Chris Lang, so she immediately commands respect. She hasn t been knocked around in her trial efforts to date and is to be kept very safe first up. RATINGS:2/1/10/9/8/4/5/6/7/3/11 SUGGESTED BET: WAIKARE PATRICIA (2) to win 2 Empire Vicbred 3YO Trot 7.00 2180m. $10000. 3yo Trotting Fillies RBD Mobile Heat 1 96 DAWN TEARS C J Hunter Chris Hunter Fr 81.00 2 s1073 GATESYS GIRL M A Hughes Geoff Walker Fr 6.00 3 5s111 SHES AN IMAGE C W Lang Chris (Jnr) Lang Fr J1.30 4 6s PLEINE DESPOIR G L McDermott Grant Campbell Fr 34.00 5 r0s03 MAD ABOUT ALICE J D Justice John Justice Fr 41.00 6 28s77 COOKEYSLASS K M Males Daryl Douglas Fr 31.00 7 37487 LUCY HAS DREAMS W F White Ian White Fr 67.00 Second Line 8 45989 ZOES DREAM C W Lang Chris Lang Fr 51.00 9 s2481 SHEER ILLUSION D R Hancock Darren Hancock Fr 7.00 10 01342 HOLD THAT GRIN P H Hornsby Stacey Towers Fr 15.00 11 716s0 PACOBAMBA G L Lewis Ben Gledhill Fr 21.00 TOP PICK: SHES AN IMAGE (3) is getting better with each run for Chris Lang and tonight she aims up for her fourth win on the trot after dominant performances at Shepparton, Melton and Cobram at her three goes this season for her new mentor. She is a real flyer off the arm and should have little trouble assuming her favoured role of pacemaker and that will be the end of it. DANGER: GATESYS GIRL (2) looks almost a good thing to fill the exacta, as she should roll to the lead early and then is likely to take a trail on SHES AN IMAGE (3) to secure the gun run. She tried hard for third to SHES AN IMAGE (3) in the Princess Of Speed at Melton last time and trialled nicely there last Monday to liven her up for this. OTHERS: SHEER ILLUSION (9) is a quality NSW-trained filly who has an enviable record and has struck form at the right time with a last start Menangle triumph next to her name. She will be chasing a smart one tonight, but has a strong place chance along with HOLD THAT GRIN (10). RATINGS:3/2/9/10/11/6/7/4/5/8/1 SUGGESTED BET: Flexi Trifecta 3/ 2/ 9,10 ($20 gets you 1000%) 3 Empire Vicbred 4YO Mares 7.30 2180m. $10000. 4yo Mares RBD Mobile Heat 1 12787 PUMPITUP T M Reid Trevor Reid Fr 17.00 2 6506s LIVELY MOTH A L Peacock Damian Wilson Fr J1.10 3 42s22 AUSSIE MADE LOMBO J E Davies Scratched Fr--- 4 52332 DEE JAY JOLIE L Miles Lisa Miles Fr 10.00 5 10278 LIFE SAVINGS F B Blackshaw Daryl Douglas Fr 21.00 6 12185 GOTAHAVASHEFFIELD K P Cotchin John Caldow Fr 6.00 7 55126 BARACKS ANGEL K W Taylor Chris Svanosio Fr 34.00 TOP PICK: LIVELY MOTH (2) hasn t been seen since finishing midfield behind Miss Moonlite in the Tabcorp Australasian Breeders Crown 3YO Fillies Consolation back in August last year, but she showed her readiness for this with a strong Melton trial success last Monday night where she demolished her rivals and ran home in some nice sectionals. She looks like getting an easy lead here and should get away with this first up. DANGER: GOTAHAVASHEFFIELD (6) is an honest little mare who has been in fine form this season; winning 4 of her 8 outings ñ the latest of those at Cobram three runs ago where she led and just held off a late challenge from Lombo Sleek Streak. She will find it hard to get past LIVELY MOTH (2) from her wide gate, but is in with a strong place chance. OTHERS: PUMPITUP (1) might be able to kick up and hold the back of LIVELY MOTH (2) and from the position behind the leader she can certainly run a drum. DEE JAY JOLIE (4) and LIFE SAVINGS (5) are the next best. RATINGS: 2/ 6/ 1/ 4/ 5/ 7 SUGGESTED BET: Flexi First Fours 2/ 6/ 1,4,5,/ 1,4,5,7 and 2/ 1,4,5/ 6/ 1,4,5,7 ($9 on each will have you going for 100%) 4 Empire Vicbred 4YO Mares 8.00 2180m. $10000. 4yo Mares RBD Mobile Heat 1 223s6 SAUNDERS JEWEL G J Bailey Michael Bellman Fr 8.00 2 56s35 IMA RITZI LOMBO J R Hallam Leigh Sutton Fr 15.00 3 s4335 AALYAH ROSE J N Quinlan Jodi Quinlan Fr J2.50 4 7185s BLISSFULL KISSES A A Herbertson Rodney Petroff Fr 2.80 5 s1596 PENNY UNION W A Dummett Scott Phelan Fr 21.00 6 34863 CLAIRE JASPER G W Freeman Jason Hackett Fr 7.00 7 38577 LIVIA DEGEROLSTEIN G A Lang Gavin Lang Fr 6.00 TOP PICK: AALYAH ROSE (3) is now back with Jodi Quinlan after a stint up in NSW for Neil Day and one average run at Cobram for Clive Dalton, and she seems to be happy back in familiar surrounds going on her solid trial win at Melton last Monday where she slipped home in 57.6. She doesn t strike a strong heat here and is the one they have to beat, particularly if she can find the front. DANGER: BLISSFULL KISSES (4) showed plenty of talent in her 16 starts last season and she did mix it with some very smart types on numerous occasions without disgracing herself. She hasn t trialled for her first go this time in, but if she is close to the mark fresh she will be extremely hard to roll in this. OTHERS: SAUNDERS JEWEL (1) was found wanting at Terang first up from a break when out the back behind Well Hereshoping, but she will be better for that run and is in with a shot along with LIVIA DEGEROLSTEIN (7) and CLAIRE JASPER (6). RATINGS:3/4/1/7/6/2/5 SUGGESTED BET: AALYAH ROSE (3) to win 5 Mustad Cochran Trot Cup 8.30 2690m. $30000. He is sure to be injected into the contest early by John Caldow and will be there whacking away as per normal when the whips are cracking. DANGER: MOTU YOUNG JACOB (7) has never raced better and he will be a major player in this going on his latest game second to Gentlemans Honour in the Warragul Trotters Cup where he did all of the work in the breeze. The draw isn t ideal, but he is likely to push forward and make his own luck. OTHERS: SAVE A SIXPENCE (4) has some ordinary numbers next to his name, but he does look suited here under these conditions and it must be remembered that he won a heat of the Inter Dominion at Shepparton back in January where he led, which isn t out of the question tonight. ALEPPO SUNRISE (6) was luckless at Melton last start behind Elegant Image and looks the other main winning chance. MY MON STAR (2) is going better than his form reads and appeals as the best roughie of the night. RATINGS:10/7/4/6/2/11/1/8/5/9/3 SUGGESTED BET: EARL OF MOT (10) to win 6 Kevin Abrahams Memorial 9.00 2150m. $7000. She was an impressive all-the-way winner at Melton three back and should take beating in this with a safe trip. DANGER: MONSIEUR DEVILLE (13) has the 40m handicap to overcome over the sprint trip for the trotters and will need a bit to go his way, but he is strong enough to make his own luck and is not to be underestimated. He will be fitter after his handy fifth to Amiri at Bendigo two weeks ago, as it was his first run for a month and looks the main threat to SPARKS IGNITE (6). OTHERS: CLARRIE STONE (4) was racing in great heart for Ross Graham when last in work and if he is ready to go first up tonight he is sure to be a force. ALABAMA SKEETA (10) broke through for a well-deserved win at Melton 8 days ago and is in with an each way show tonight in this harder affair along with GIOIOSA IONICA (3), ROCKIN WILMA (5) and MADISKITA (11). RATINGS:6/13/4/10/3/5/11/1/2/12/8/9 SUGGESTED BET: SPARKS IGNITE (6) to win 7 VHRSC Eastern Zone Final 9.30 2180m. $8000. He has the second row draw to overcome, but his class will take him a long way towards winning this. DANGER: ATOMIC HORIZON (7) put the writing on the wall for this Final with a slashing first up third to BORN AGAIN SASSY (9) in his heat at Warragul 13 days ago where he did all of the bullocking work in the last lap and wasn t beaten far. He will be much sharper tonight and he has the opportunity to race closer to the speed, as he is sure to be pressing forward from his wide alley. OTHERS: BOUT TIME (11) enjoyed the tag up on the back of ATOMIC HORIZON (7) in that same Warragul heat mentioned above and he just failed to mow down the leader BORN AGAIN SASSY (9) in what was a most encouraging performance. He will be relying on a cart into it once more, but can cause an upset should he get it. RATINGS:10/7/11/9/8/4/1/2/12/3 SUGGESTED BET: MR NICKEL (10) to win 8 Awesome Jasper Pace 10.00 1690m. $1500. 3yo & up 0LTW RBD Mobile 1 s787s ANOTHERSTRIKENUGET T H McGuigan Tim McGuigan Fr 7.00 2 6s74s SAFELY ROCKING R L Burnett Monique Burnett (C) Fr 4.50 3 0739s BOB SWAGGER C C McPherson Gavin Lang Fr 3.50 4 8097 SAINT LILIANA J C Gledhill Ben Gledhill Fr 5.00 5 76886 PEACE OF MAGIC P R Crosher Paul Crosher Fr 21.00 6 79s70 JILLIBY BROOKLYN K L Wilson Brian Gath Fr 26.00 7 6s990 EURASIAN CULLEN D C Magri David Magri Fr 34.00 Second Line 8 58s5 OUT OF MORALS L J Eastman Daryl Douglas Fr J2.70 TOP PICK: OUT OF MORALS (8) ran a fair race first up for a year at Charlton 12 days ago behind Leighmont, and with that run sure to improve him, he might be the one they have to get past in a very tricky affair to wind up the night. DANGER: SAFELY ROCKING (2) is having his first go at the pacing caper after commencing his career as a trotter where he was winless in 18 tries, which doesn t instil you with a great deal of confidence, but he didn t trial too badly at Melton last Monday night and has to be given a chance in this. OTHERS: SAINT LILIANA (4) has been well held at her past two behind quality types Teo Enteo and We Never Say Die and she is sure to find this more to her liking. She cannot be ruled out of contention along with BOB SWAGGER (3) who is having his first run for Chris McPherson after not doing a lot in 7 runs in NSW, but gets the services of Gavin Lang.
