The 9yo has had four runs following a six week break and he normally steps well. He breezed and applied pressure before fading when 7th to Dee Eight Supercar 2503m stand August 24. DANGER: SEEL N PRINT (7) has been freshened up and on best form the 5yo would be hard to beat. He was always well back when finishing 8th to Code Red 3309m stand August 10. OTHERS: IM GRANT LEA (6) has been a model of consistency since rejoining the stables of Ron Huston. JOHNORAMA (10) won a 2503m stand last Friday. This is harder off the 20m handicap. ERRIS LAD (4) could play a part off a soft run. MISS AZOOMA (2) has the draw and is always a novelty hope. He sat back and tracked up in the three wide line before finishing 2nd to Full Moon Tonight 1700m mobile last Friday. DANGER: SCUBA STEVE (10) is racing in strong form and the 5yo looks a leading contender. He ran on well from a rearward position when finishing 2nd to Mister Sarkozy 2100m mobile August 24. OTHERS: GO WEST U TERROR (8) will look dangerous in the run. The 5yo just needs luck. JEFFERSON CITY (7) was an impressive 1700m mobile winner last Friday. He may have a dip for the lead. JOHNNY BE (1) has strong appeal from the pole. MIRTHFUL MAC (4) has been consistent since arriving from N.Z. He worked his way to the breeze and was too good for Kinsfolk in a 2503m stand last Friday. DANGER: ADDA PATERNAL SUIT (6) is racing well and the 6yo is bound to be in the finish. He faced the breeze and fought on well when finishing 2nd to Johnorama 2503m stand last Friday. OTHERS: J WALKER (2) is a former New Zealander with Graham Bond making his local debut. Expect a bold showing. ANVIL ATTACK (1) is a one paced 6yo who just keeps whacking away. He is always a show. KNIGHT CRUSADER (5) and DALVEY GOLD (7) should both position close to the leaders. She had a soft run on the pegs and was outclassed when finishing 7th to Sneakyn Down Under 2100m mobile last Friday. DANGER: FLOJO TWO (3) has ability but is a very wayward mare. She was at her best at Northam August 28 when running home boldly to defeat Sandy Finn 1780m mobile in 1.57.9. OTHERS: MILLWOOD KANSAS (8) has won two races since returning and she can play a part. SIENNA (1) has been placed past three starts and the draw suits. TERRA INTO THE WEST (9) ran on well behind Flojo Two last start at Northam. SIENNA FRANCO (7) led throughout here Tuesday. This is tougher. The gelding didn't enjoy the best of luck in his other two starts between those victories. He won impressively from Cromac Johnny 2506m mobile August 24. DANGER: MYSTA MAGICAL MACH (1) has had three starts back from a spell and the 8yo will be nearing his peak. He breezed from mid-race when 6th to Sneakyn Down Under 2100m mobile last Friday. OTHERS: CAN RETURN FIRE (3) is yet to produce his best in four runs back from a spell. He may be an improver. BUS TO HARLAND (6) and MY ELUSIVE DREAM (5) could both hit the line well but the class may be a test for the duo. SAUCY LEGEND (2) has the opportunity to secure a good run on speed. Cup charge: Stunin Cullen races for a NZ Cup start. Major comeback MELPARK Major has two things on his side for his comeback at Melton tonight. One is he is the class horse of the field. The other is that he is ''an adrenalin junkie'', trainer Alan Tubbs' description of the star who returns to racing in the $20,000 Blacks A Fake Free- For-All. Four years ago Melpark Major was a star but an accident set off a series of problems that have negated that brilliance. Now a nine-year-old, he has had three trials after not having raced since January's Ballarat Cup. ''The problem with his trials have been he hasn't been taking on super strong horses,'' Tubbs said. ''So the fastest he has gone is a half in 57 seconds, but he just jogged that with his earplugs in.'' He said Melpark Major's love of racing could see him overcome his lack of fitness. ''He loves to be out there and he loves to race, so he can still win,'' he said. ''I am not saying we are going to drive him super aggressive, so he is no good thing but I wouldn't be surprised if he comes out and wins. ''And the way his old body is, his first couple of runs back could be his best.'' Cup heats up THE road to the New Zealand Cup becomes a little more serious at Addington tonight. Last year's Hunter Cup winner Stunin Cullen should start tote favourite in the $25,000 Maurice Holmes Vase, over the 2600m standing start. Stunin Cullen blew out in his first race for 17 months last start but will strip far fitter tonight and is the horse to beat, with the enigma of the race being Franco Emirate. He was good enough to push Smoken Up close in last season's NZ Free-For- All before a poor Australian campaign. The giant pacer still has standing start issues but, if on his best behaviour tonight, could win and guarantee himself a start in the cup on November 13. Last-start winner Mach Banner was opened the favourite by TAB as it expands its fixed odds coverage of New Zealand harness features. Do it for Kerryn I DIDNT Do It will be looking to enhance his reputation as a ladies' man in the $20,000 feature trot at Melton tonight, only with a different lady. The speed machine has been driven in all but two of his 54 starts by Jodi Quinlan but as she is on holiday, Kerryn Manning will have her first drive behind I Didnt Do It. ''He seems to go better for the girls, so Kerryn was the logical choice,'' trainer Merv Williamson said. IDidntDoIthadtobe scratched from the ABC Trot Free-For-All three weeks ago because of a possible food contamination, but Williamson said he was ready for tonight. ''He has been working well and I think he can win.'' His meets a classy field including Don King, Im Dejazzman and converted pacer Mister Zion.
