DANGER: ZEDAGUY (4) was very plain here two back where he failed to kick on after a lovely run in the lead but he showed his true talent with a handy fourth to Lennytheshark at Shepparton last time and is worth another chance. OTHERS: NUGGETS BROTHER (10) will be better for his first up sixth to Lennytheshark at Shepparton and he showed ability by winning on debut at Bendigo so he should be a threat in this second up. CARDON MERGER (8), MISTER TAPTOE LOMBO (3) and GOHARDORGOHOME (2) are also in the mix. He will be improved and is clearly the one to beat here, 40m handicap and all. DANGER: RAINBOW JAY JAY (8) had no luck at Bendigo last Saturday night when sixth to Loveyougoodboy but his form prior was excellent and with the 20m jump on his main rival he looms as the main threat. OTHERS: CONCHS CRITTER (6) battled on well for second to the smart Rosalie Bay at Yarra Valley last Wednesday and rates as an upset chance along with last start winner here ROBBIE ZUVE (7) and MISS ELIZA (2). DANGER: CORMONTY (4) was a winner here five runs ago and he resumes tonight off the back of a handy trial at Shepparton 12 days ago where he was placed in 2:03.6. He is not star but well up to winning this fresh. OTHERS: LOMBO ROUSTABOUT (8) will find this easier than the Snowball heats he has contested at his past two and has each way claims along with HANELLA BOY (5) and MOSQUITO ZEPHYR (9). DANGER: WET PAINT (4) is now with Ben Gledhill for whom he trialled well for at Shepparton recently so he looks the main danger. OTHERS: LEIGHMONT (10), STAR OF PARIS (8) and MISS RUTHLESS (6) are the other ones in with a shot. DANGER: DUSTY SMILES (11) had a tough trip in the breeze at Maryborough last time and couldn t go on with it when down the track behind Lights And Music but she did run a handy fourth to that same fellow at Melton prior and should be competitive. OTHERS: LEVI LOWE (1) has the ideal draw to be a factor here and whether he holds up or takes a trail expect him to be in the finish with NOVA ARAMA (2) the other main winning hope. SAINT JACK (9) and KENTUCKY LANE (3) are the upsets. DANGER: PATOS WALLET (1) had to do too much work in the early stages at Cobram last time when out the back behind Lombo Break Thru but he should receive a cheap run on the pegs here from the ideal draw and looks the main threat to TRUE HAPPINESS (4). OTHERS: THE NUMBERS MAN (9) is racing well but the draw over the short course limits him to an upset chance only with WEEKEND RUSTLER (6) and IAMNOTABINDI (3) the next best. SELECTIONS: TRUE HAPPINESS (4), Patos Wallet (1), The Numbers Man (9), Weekend Rustler (6) RATINGS: 4/ 1/ 9/ 6,3/ 5,7,8/ 2 SUGGESTED BET: TRUE HAPPINESS (4) to win 7 Moama Bowling Club 9.30 2160m. $5000. DANGER: JOHNNY TEE (4) couldn t sprint with Pocket Legend at Cobram last Thursday but he wasn t disgraced in running fourth and his fast-finishing second to Amajorjo at Hamilton prior is a good form pointer for this. OTHERS: GEORGE SAMUEL (3) went wire-to-wire at Maryborough last start from behind the strands and might work his way to the lead here so he must be given strong consideration along with DAVIDS LADY (5), MODERN WARRIOR (8), HES REAL (7) and BEAUDIENNE BETTA (1). DANGER: TAW (4) has been freshened up since being well beaten by My Mums A Star at Cobram back in early November and if he is ready to go he will be a major player in this. OTHERS: JASMIN ART (9) resumes from a spell tonight off the back of a reasonable trial effort at Shepparton 12 days back and appears to be the other main winning hope with LIFE LONG VOYAGE (8) the best of the rest. DANGER: MCARDLE LASSIE (3) had consistent form in the Sunraysia before being taken over by Adrian Preston where she ran an unlucky sixth to Umi at Maryborough 8 days ago first up for the new stable from an unsuitable draw. She fares much better this time around and looms as the only threat to ROCKSTAR RULER (1). OTHERS: NEVER ON SUNDAY (4) didn t do much first up from a break at Hamilton when down the track behind He Did It Again but he will be better for that outing and has a strong place chance today along with FILL BILLYS SHOES (2), SEMPER FI (5) and DILLS ROCKET (6). He should make his way to the lead here without too much hassle and from there he will be nigh on impossible to get past. DANGER: MODERN MCKENZIE (1) has always shown promise and but she didn t fire in four runs last campaign and was sent for a break. She resumes today off the back of a narrow Ararat trial success just over two weeks ago and with the likely trail on the back of BOBBY MARAVU (2) from the pole draw she looms as the most likely to cause a boil over. OTHERS: LINGA LONGA LASS (5) is well in here with the mares concession and has a rough show going on her latest third to Umi at Maryborough where she parked out and battled on well into third. She may have to do the work again though. BENALLY (4) and FINAL RIOT (6) are the next best. He resumes today without the benefit of a trial so he won t be totally wound up but his class will take him a long way towards winning this and he is the testing material. DANGER: GOODTIME MIKE (1) is yet another talented type in the Emma Steward stable who did a good job last term, winning 3 of his 8 starts and he does boast a win over Flaming Flutter to his credit so you know he can run a bit when on song. He has had a trial hit out at Ballarat early last month to blow the cobwebs out and from the pole expect this guy to be extremely hard to beat fresh. OTHERS: That pair rate a fair way in front of their rivals and should dominate with BIG GORILLA (4), JILLIBY PLEASURE (5), LOOKINFORAGOODTIME (7) and TWENTYFIVETOLIFE (6) fighting it out for third and fourth prize money. He has this lot covered ability wise, looks a real chance of working to the lead off his 10m handicap with a smooth beginning and from there is should be a matter of times and margins. DANGER: BALTIMORE BOY (8) made a rare bad beginning at Terang last start and didn t do a bad job all things considered to run fifth to Atego Lilly and if he can make a clean getaway this time around he has a strong place chance. OTHERS: HEZA MAORI (7) comes out of that same contest mentioned above where he was travelling nicely on the pegs before busting up when getting into the clear in the straight. He has the talent to be in the finish here if he trots all the way. MOSQUITO SPUR (3) and IDLE SUNTIME (10) look the other main place hopes with THE YANKEE CLIPPER (1), TROT FOR PETE (2) and ADAMS CROWN (11) the other ones to include if you wish to play wider. He will find this race an easier assignment, should dash around the field early to take up the running and from there they won t get anywhere near him. DANGER: PANORAMA WEALTH (1) has been battling a little this campaign but she showed signs of getting back to somewhere near her best with a gallant third to Torque Artraction at Terang last start. She has gate speed but is likely to be headed off by the brilliant beginner RUFFIANO (6), which isn t ideal but the field should string out over the concluding stages and she will get her chance to snare a podium finish. OTHERS: RUFFIANO (6) is a brilliant beginner who looks almost certain to get to the pegs first here. He normally hands up in his races so the likely scenario sees him taking the trail on AMAJORJO (9) which will give him every possible to run the drum. KIWI RAGE (7) is the other main place hope with VILLAGE PEACH (3), DARGLETIM (5), SECRET RUBY (10) and HE DID IT AGAIN (2) having rougher claims. DANGER: SKIPPER LING (6) is another who doesn t win out of turn but he put the writing on the wall at Terang last start where he appreciated a hectic tempo up front to work home nicely into second behind Cheap Tint. They won t be going 1:56.9 here and with the right run in transit from his wide draw he should be more than competitive. OTHERS: MOURINHO (8) is a one-paced type who isn t suited from the draw but with only THE DEE EM DEVIL (9) to his outside David Drury will have little trouble getting him away from the pegs early and out into the open. Expect him to be injected into the contest early and be whacking away at the business end. WIPETHESMILE (3) didn t do a great deal in four starts earlier this year but he did win an Ararat trial recently by a big space to ready him for this assignment. He draws OK, leaves the mobile well and must be considered first up. THE DEE EM DEVIL (9) is yet to run a place in 5 outings but he has been competing in stronger races than this of late and isn t without an each way chance along with PLEASEDTOBETIBET (7) who ran a nice race at huge odds behind Cheesy Grin at Terang last time.
