He has gate speed, will be in search of a forward position and looks a great gamble in a tricky affair. DANGER: NICKYS CHRISTIAN (10) raced well below her best at Ouyen last Sunday when down the track behind Well Oiled Lombo but her form prior was excellent, including a come-from-behind Swan Hill victory two back and a dogged win here four runs ago when taken on in the lead. She has the poor draw to overcome and will need lift on what she did last start but a return to her best will see her go close. OTHERS: PANAMARIS (9) was a winner here two runs back and wasn t too far from Fairhurst on this circuit at her latest outing so from the trailing draw she must be given a chance. CHECK MATE (6) will find this much harder than what he was successful in at Ouyen last Sunday but he isn t completely hopeless with rough hopes going to MATTICHIELLO (8) and SIGN OF SPRING (1). RATINGS: 4/ 10/ 9/ 6/ 8,1/ 3,5/ 11,2 SUGGESTED BET: GLACIAL (4) to win 2 Park Douglas Printing Pace 6.37 2190m. $5000. He won 2 of his 9 outings last time in and should go very close in this first up. DANGER: WICKED ISLE (2) is winless in 11 outings this season but he has been placed on 4 occasions, the latest of those on this track two back behind Union Flight and from the handy gate in a moderate affair he comes into calculations. OTHERS: TIGER FIGHTER (1) ran his best race to date when third to Check Mate at Ouyen last Sunday and from the pole draw he is sure to be a major player. Stable mate VILLAGE LOU (8) looks the other strong winning chance on his second to Union Flight here last start. RATINGS: 5/ 2/ 1/ 8/ 7,11/ 10,9 SUGGESTED BET: FINEDROPOFWHITE (5) each way on a 1 x 3 basis 3 Mildura Workers C'ship 1 7.10 1790m. $6000. He has the extreme gate over the sprint trip, plus he takes on some handy opposition, but he has a touch of class about him and should be too good for these with ordinary luck in running. DANGER: ONE WISE MAN (5) didn t have the best of luck at Ballarat last time behind Easy Lightning but his efforts prior behind the smart Our Missionary Man there two back and here three runs ago behind Major Capital were both quite good and from the front row draw with the likelihood of him getting the lead he may be the main danger to this favourite. OTHERS: THOMAS DYLAN (9) is a lightly-raced South Australian who has won 3 of his 5 outings and does show some promise. He will find this much harder than what he has been contesting at Globe Derby of late but he is not without an upset chance along with fellow South Aussie ANDROID (10) who has looked good winning both her runs this time in at Globe Derby. RATINGS: 11/ 5/ 9/ 10/ 4,8/ 7,6/ 1,3 SUGGESTED BET: Flexi Standout Trifecta 11/ 5,9,10 ($30 gets you 500%) 4 K Hogarth Drivers C'ship 2 7.40 2190m. $6000. He will find this his toughest test to date, particularly from where he is drawn, but he is going great guns at present and can overcome the class rise. DANGER: GIVSIRABONE (9) has been a model of consistency this campaign, having been placed at his past five runs on this track including a solid victory five back over LOW DOWN (10). The draw probably isn t ideal for him as he likes to race in or near the lead but if he is lucky enough to gain a trail into it from the rear he should still run home strongly. OTHERS: DOMESTIC BLISS (1) will be fitter for her first up second to Ultimate Call at Port Pirie two weeks ago and from the pole draw with the likelihood of her leading she must be given a strong chance second up. RONZEL GEM (6) will get back from the wide barrier and need a bit of luck thereafter but she looks the other main winning hope. RATINGS: 8/ 9/ 1/ 6/ 5,7/ 3,2,11 SUGGESTED BET: Boxed Exacta 1,6,8,9 ($24 gets you 200%) 5 Mildura Working Man's Club 8.10 2190m. $6000. She will get all the favours tonight from the ace alley as Shayne Cramp has the option of going for an all-the-way victory or taking a sit on stable mate THE RAGPICKERS DREAM (5). No matter where she ends up in the run she is the one they have to beat. DANGER: THE RAGPICKERS DREAM (5) is new to the Shayne Cramp barn after being claimed from a race at Melton last Saturday night, which he won stylishly. He has a stack of gate speed when asked, is a chance of spearing across the face of the field to take up the running and will take catching should that scenario unfold. OTHERS: UNCLE WINGNUT (3) was responsible for an excellent effort in the Ouyen Cup last Sunday when third to Jamies Boy and is in with an upset chance tonight along with HAVE A BENDER (7) who resumes from a break off the back of a trial win on this circuit last week and draws to get a cheap run on the pegs. He does take on the older horses here but he will find this assignment well within his grasp and is the testing material. DANGER: OUR WALDEN BURY (2) hasn t really reached the lofty heights many thought he would go to when taken over by Glenn Douglas and he did look disappointing at Echuca last time when fourth to Go El Zhar but he definitely has the talent to test these and must be respected. OTHERS: DREAM LA VITA (7) will find this harder than his past two victories on this circuit, plus he draws awkwardly, but if things go his way in the run he is in with a sneaky chance. STUCK UP (8), BLISSFULL HART (3) and MONTANA MADGE (1) can place. He should be able to pounce on the lead here from the ideal gate and the way he is going at present his rivals will have a devil of a time mowing him down. DANGER: SHELBY CRUZIN (2) is a handy sit-sprinter who draws to advantage as he should begin well enough to hold the back of DAYLIGHT DAN (3) and will get the run he likes thereafter. He may struggle to go with that fellow over the last 400m but with the cheap run he looms as the main danger, if any. OTHERS: SHAKATOMIC (10) was impressive beating SHELBY CRUZIN (2) here last time but he doesn t draw the best this time around and will have to settle for a minor placing this time around along with stable mates JACCKA LAUCHIE (9) and JUSTALITTLELOOSE (8). DANGER: CULLENS QUEEN (4) didn t set the world alight in four runs earlier this season and she resumes here without the benefit of a trial so it is hard to gauge where she is at, but she does have some talent and might run a cheeky race fresh. OTHERS: WRINKLE KNUTT (6) doesn t win out of turn but he is always around the mark in whatever he contests and he should run his usual honest race once more. BEAU CIEL (8) looks the only other one in with a shot at upsetting the favourite. She has lengths on these class wise and should get the job done. DANGER: DONAVAN MAGUIRE (5) was rolled at his Aussie debut for Shayne Cramp by The Reverend Black as a short-priced favourite but got his own back last time with a hard-fought victory over that fellow and he can get into the placings. OTHERS: FORCE TEN GALE (4) is a talented South Australian who slightly disappointed at Globe Derby last start but must be included in exotics here along with THE REVEREND BLACK (6).
