A seven-time placegetter this season he has only broken through once but this is a race very thin on genuine winning chances and if he gets into the fight at any stage they ll find it very hard to hold him out in the lane. DANGER: MUST BE NICE (9) travelled to Queensland as a 2YO and finished third in his APG final behind boom horse Majestic Mach. He lost form toward the end of a long juvenile campaign but has bounced back in fine style at his past two and should figure in the finish here with any luck at all. OTHERS: MORE THAN ALRIGHT (6) showed blazing gate speed to find the front and hold all her rivals at bay last time out and while she may be a shade below the other two for class her front line draw will be a big advantage here. Last start winner SINGED (7) and enigmatic colt ITSALLABOUTEX (2) are place prospects at best. He is a front-of-the- field performer that should give a sight if he trots all the way. DANGER: COOKEYSLASS (2) is a genuine mare who has always promised something and appears to have improved at all three starts so far this campaign. She doesn t win out of turn but the draw and opposition both suit and she won t be too far away in this. OTHERS: This is a wide open affair where REIGN OF DARKNESS (10) and MISTER PEPE (8) are also big winning chances. To a lesser extent excellent beginner LOVABLE NICK (7) can also make his presence felt so playing wide in multiple best is very strongly advised. SELECTIONS: LOMBO SCRUTINIZER (5), Cookeyslass (2), Reign Of Darkness (10), Mister Pepe (8) RATINGS:5/2/10/8/7/6/1/3/4/9 SUGGESTED BET: LOMBO SCRUTINIZER (5) Each Way 3 Prestige Jayco 7.30 2100m. $5000. 4yo & up C1 Only RBD Mobile Heat 1 65880 NO GOOD AT MATHS Craig Demmler Fr 51.00 2 s0138 MARIO FENECH NZ Zac Phillips (C,cl) Fr 6.50 3 33383 CORBIN LEE NZ Gavin Lang Fr 4.00 4 31658 ART WIZARD Sebastian F Steenhuis Fr 21.00 5 00900 THE CONCIERGE Daryl Prosser Fr 101.00 6 s3514 DAM LUCKY David Murphy Fr 4.00 7 31321 MINTI CHOICE Rhys Nicholson (C,cl) Fr J1.90 Second Line 8 s9906 TENDER EARL Kymberlie Hobby (C) Fr 101.00 9 1s787 BLACK COUGAR Mandie Henderson Fr 16.00 TOP PICK: MINTI CHOICE (7) is absolutely airborne this campaign with two wins and six placing s from eight starts to date. She is super quick off the arm when let go at the start and whether she finds the top or sits parked, a repeat of her last start effort when too good at Kilmore will see her the testing material once again tonight. DANGER: CORBIN LEE (3) is a member of the low-flying Tim Bolitho barn and he too has been in honest form this preparation. His close-up third to Fearless Leader and Bettor Believe It three starts back at Melton is a good indication of his talent and from the favourable draw a forward showing is expected. OTHERS: DAM LUCKY (6) is the other key winning hop here based on several promising performances so far this season but she will need to improve on her last start fourth behind MINTI CHOICE (7) as will MARIO FENECH (2) who finished eighth in the same race but must be included in all your multiple bets. She should have little trouble leading from the ace alley here and unless she is mauled in front it s hard to see her getting rolled in this. DANGER: CUTE ART (8) is a handy mare with Dean Braun who hasn t set the world on fire in four starts to date but also hasn t drawn well in three of those four starts. Tonight, she draws to follow BLAZEAWAY MACRAY (1) around if able to hold her position at the start and as a result she appeals as a likely silver medallist with some small hope of rolling the favourite if the top- end pressure is intense. OTHERS: PASS IT TO BILLY (5) caught the eye rattling home from the rear at Kilmore last start and stays under notice despite the awkward draw while comeback kid THE BINDER (9) and front-of- the-field performer REAL GRIT (3) can also fill a hole. SELECTIONS: BLAZEAWAY MACRAY (1), Cute Art (8), Pass It To Billy (5), The Binder (9). She possesses a wicked turn of foot and with the early speed likely to be frenetic in the early stages here, expect her to drop on these late and make it six wins from just eight starts. DANGER: GO EL ZHAR (3) is a member of the in-form Ross Sugars team who should relish a front line alley after starting off the second row at four of his past five starts. The last time he drew the front he was an impressive all-the-way winner at Echuca and while there s plenty of early speed off the front line here, he should be in the finish with any luck at all. OTHERS: ACTION ROYALE (6) has made a welcome return to her best form of late and simply loves the short-course trip so make sure she figures in your Quaddie here tonight. HOAGY BROMAC (7) is also racing well but looks a place prospect only from the draw. She has trialled OK at Tabcorp Park in preparation for this and if anywhere near her best will be saluting tonight. DANGER: SPORTY MAC (2) always gives himself a chance of at least placing in races like this as he is a terrific beginner who almost always finds the front before handing up in transit. He may have a crack at holding the top over the short course here tonight, but either way he s the major danger for sure. OTHERS: V C DEVIL (10) and HUGH (6) are both relatively brave horses who round out your serious winning hopes here while VIVA COURAGE (8) and WAKE UP CALL (9) are worth including in multiple bets. He is an excellent beginner who may lead these around and would prove very tough to beat if he did. DANGER: BETTOR BELIEVE IT (3) is an amazingly genuine mare that is never far away from the money. She can go back or forward and still figure so keep her safe in this. OTHERS: SMOKIN JOKER (7) is flying right now and also begins on roller-skates so don t rule her out either in what is the most open race of the night. He is a classy conveyance and although costly first up he can make amends here. DANGER: EURASIAN KOSMOS (5) comes off the above mentioned series where finished runner up to Kyvalley Rap in two heats before running an excellent third to Tendaho in the final at Charlton just over three weeks ago. He has been in fine form this time in and will certainly test SUNSET INVASION (6). OTHERS: THE TRUTH (12) has looked good winning both of his runs back from a long break and although he will find this his toughest assignment to date he is not without a chance. WILDENSTEIN (1) has trialled well at Shepparton since busting up over the concluding stages in the Central Victorian Championship Final at Charlton last start and he looks the best of the others. DANGER: EL SABIO (6) is now under the care of Courtney Slater and resumes from a break without the benefit of a trial so it is hard to know where he is at but he has shown some ability in the past and is the watch runner. OTHERS: THE DEE EM DEVIL (4) hasn t been dangerous at his past two behind Additallup and Beau Dandy but he will find this much easier and did run a place three back at Stawell so he must be given a chance. BELATED (5) whacked away in to fourth spot behind the talented Ponder In Paris at Kilmore last start and looks the other main winning hope on that effort. SELECTIONS: GNOTUK (10), El Sabio (6), The Dee Em Devil (4), Belated (5) RATINGS: 10/ 6/ 4/ 5/ 2,1,8,3,11/ 9 SUGGESTED BET: GNOTUK (10) each way on a 1 x 3 basis 3 Moore Bulk Haulage 2.57 2200m. $5000. 3yo 3C0 To 3C1 PBD Mobile 1 66335 GRACEFUL AFFAIR Rod Barker Fr 21.00 2 7 GOLLAHMAN Paul Gadsden Fr 6.00 3 CITYSNEAK Michael Bellman Fr 8.00 4 0fs73 JASPERS CULLEN Brad Hunt Fr 15.00 5 34960 BOYZ TORQUE Kerryn Manning Fr 10.00 6 95967 GOODTIME BILLY Scratched Fr 7 5 BIG STORM WARNING Michael Sullivan (C) Fr 26.00 Second Line 8 6668s GLENWAY HUSTLER Brendan Mahncke Fr 34.00 9 4s766 LONGTAN COUGARMAN Scratched Fr 10 33315 SOHO EASTWOOD Michael Stanley Fr 3.20 11 7s860 HAYES AND KYDD Greg Sugars Fr J2.50 TOP PICK: HAYES AND KYDD (11) had his first run for Emma Stewart 18 days ago in a heat of the Victoria Derby at Melton and tired badly to finish well out the back behind Macha but he did trial well at Ballarat prior and will obviously find this more his speed so he appeals as the one to beat. DANGER: SOHO EASTWOOD (10) broke his maiden status with a tough Echuca victory two runs ago and his latest effort behind Bit Of A Babe at Melton was sound as he drew poorly over the sprint trip and just couldn t get into it. He is an honest fellow who is the logical threat to HAYES AND KYDD (11). OTHERS: GOLLAHMAN (2) was well backed on debut at Charlton last week and looked the winner on the turn before busting up and finishing seventh to Kamwood Dawn. This is a harder race but he has to be given a chance from the ideal draw. CITYSNEAK (3), BOYZ TORQUE (5) and JASPERS CULLEN (4) have upset claims. She may have to tour the oval once more here from the wide alley but in a race of numerous hopes she appeals each way. DANGER: PANORAMA WEALTH (7) grades well against these and will appreciate the drop in class after bumping into Nats Survival and Lombo Sleek Streak at her past two. The draw isn t ideal but she sticks on well in her races and rates highly. OTHERS: MODERN MCKENZIE (1) draws to lead or sit just off the pace from the ace alley and can be a factor in this on her last start third to Gotalotofspeed in that same Charlton contest mentioned above at her latest outing. SOLDIERS ART (5) is speedy and well in with the claim for Marnie Bibby so she must be respected fresh with DANCE WITH MIA (3) not hopeless either. He will be fitter, looks perfectly placed with the claim for Zac Phillips, should do enough to hold the lead from the pole draw and is sure to take a power of beating thereafter. DANGER: DILLON DAPHNE (2) comes out of that same contest mentioned above where she got back in the run and was noted doing her best work late for fourth. She was a victim of circumstance there but should settle closer the speed this time around and is the main threat to MAKE A FUSS (1). OTHERS: CYCLONEDOMIC (8) didn t do a great deal first up from a spell when ninth to G K Galleon at Charlton last week but he will be improved by that run and draws to get a cheap run on the pegs so he cannot be ruled out. DANGER: OUT OF MORALS (1) comes out of that same contest mentioned above where he was never in it from a wide draw first up from a spell but he will be fitter and comes up with the pole draw this time around so expect improvement. OTHERS: ONE WISE MAN (8) battled on OK for third to the flying Washington Heritage at Mildura last start and he can be a factor in this with the right luck from his awkward draw.
