She resumes from a break tonight off the back of a Melton trial 12 days back where she wasn t knocked around and from the trailing draw in a race of some depth she looks the yardstick. DANGER: REAL BONUS (12) has been in sparkling form this time in, winning 3 of her 4 starts, the latest of those at Shepparton 12 days back in a PB of 1:55.4 for the sprint trip where she led them up and bolted in. She has the poor draw this time around and will find this her toughest test this campaign but she is flying is sure to be a threat. OTHERS: CLASSIC BLISS (3) only won a lowly C1 at Melton last first up from a spell 8 days back but there was a lot to like about the performance and with the fitness improvement factor plus the handy barrier she has each way claims along with REAL PERFORMER (4), RIVIERA KISS (2), LOMBO SLEEK STREAK (11) and THISISWHOIAM (1). She trailed BLAZEAWAY MACRAY (8) in her heat and held on well for second in what was just a dash up the straight and with Chris Alford likely to seek cover with her from the ace alley she has a great chance of turning the tables. DANGER: BLAZEAWAY MACRAY (8) led unchallenged from the pole draw in her heat and after enjoying a soft trip at the head of affairs she was able to sprint home too sharply for CUTE ART (1) to get the cash. She has the tricky gate this time around and may end up buried on the pegs but she does have the turn of foot to still be hard to hold out if she sees daylight. OTHERS: MINTI CHOICE (7) had a tough trip in the breeze and only battled into third in his heat behind MARIO FENECH (11) but his effort was still sound and he has and each way chance along with MARIO FENECH (11), PASS IT TO BILLY (6) and to a lesser extent REAL GRIT (3) and CORBIN LEE (4). DANGER: ANDYS FAVOURITE (9) got it wrong in that same Melton affair mentioned above but he did win one of these races at Maryborough in fine style four runs ago and will be dangerous if he does everything right. OTHERS: JOIN THE CIRCUS (7) made a mistake at his first go under saddle in the above mentioned heat at Melton but he was well in the market that night and comes under notice here. SONOFANEARL (6) finished third to MOTU YOUNG JACOB (3) two back and is in the mix along with TROTTN ON THE RITZ (4) and ALLAWART TOBY (5). He comes up with a better barrier this time around, may get to the pegs first and from there Greg Sugars will give him every chance. DANGER: STEAM WASHED (7) also contested a heat at Stawell last Monday and she put up close to a career-best performance to get the cash after travelling wide over the concluding stages in fast time. She has the car park gate to overcome tonight but would only need to reproduce a similar effort to last time to be mighty hard to beat. OTHERS: WHATA PUNT (9) led them up in the above mentioned heat and after getting keen at the bell he was just collared on the line by STEAM WASHED (7). That was yet another game effort from this bloke and he rates highly here from the trailing draw. CYRUS (11) battled on OK in his heat fifth to the smart Magical Telf at Terang two weeks ago and looks the other strong winning chance. He should be prominent in the run tonight and looks great gamble on an each way basis. DANGER: MY HIGH EXPECTATIONS (13) comes off a solid fourth to the star Kiwi My Escapee in the Melton Trotters Cup three weeks ago and although he has the 20m to overcome here he is clearly the class factor and is sure to be a major player with a safe journey. OTHERS: EARL HARBOUR (8) took out the Terang Trotters Cup two back and his latest third to Sparks Ignite at Melton in 1:57.7 for the sprint trip after doing all the work in the run was top notch so expect this fellow to be a force in this. STONED I AM (11) was luckless in that same Melton contest mentioned above at his latest outing and has an upset chance along with ME AN KEL (9), I SEE ICY EARL (7) and GAZOLINE (2). He may not get the front this time around and will find this a harder assignment but he looks well up to the challenge. DANGER: CHARLIE MACHSHEEN (10) started a short-priced favourite in his heat at Terang and after hitting the front on the home turn he found BALLOCHBUIE (9) just a touch too good for him, but he wasn t disgraced. He will have to do some work once more from the back row draw but his class will take him a long way towards winning this. OTHERS: IT IS BILLY (1) was the eye-catcher from that above mentioned heat when a fast-finishing third to BALLOCHBUIE (9) and tonight he comes up with a much better draw so he comes into calculations. BALLOCHBUIE (9) has looked very good winning his past two in heats of this series at Terang and Stawell and cannot be ruled out of contention. He won t find this a pushover from the back row draw and will have to earn it but he deserves top billing. DANGER: MELPARK MAJOR (4) is getting on a bit but he showed there is still some life in his old legs with a stunning Melton triumph 8 days ago where he bloused his rivals off cover in 1:54.6 for the sprint trip. He is a great chance of working his way to the lead here and will give CARIBBEAN BLASTER (10) something to chase that s for sure. OTHERS: HIGHVIEW TOMMY (6) finished rearwards in the A G Hunter Cup at Melton last time behind Mah Sish but he wasn t totally disgraced and he did win the Pure Steel at Ballarat prior so he rates as an upset chance along with DECORATED JASPER (11) and SAINT FLASH (1). He draws well and should be mighty hard to hold out first up. DANGER: SAVESOMTIMETODREAM (2) faces a massive drop in class here after contesting a heat of the Inter Dominion and the A G Hunter Cup at his past two and he was an unlucky second to Our White Knight in the Shepparton Cup three back so he looks well-placed tonight. OTHERS: AMERICAN MUSCLE (6) had a tough trip in the breeze at Menangle last time out and weakened to finish fifth behind My Temudjin in 1:51.5 when favourite but he wasn t disgraced and his form prior was super so he commands respect. CENTONIC (5) and ALCHEMY (7) are the upsets. DANGER: HEZA MAORI (9) is another who has his hoof right on the till after placing behind Man Of The World and Betterthan Gold at his past two in similar races to this and tonight might be the night he breaks through. OTHERS: BALTIMORE BOY (4) has been freshened up for this and trialled nicely at Maryborough 13 days ago to blow the cobwebs out. He has the barrier draw advantage over his two main rivals and rates highly. MALLEE TRAPPER (11) has plenty of talent but often his manners can let him down. He resumes from a spell tonight without the benefit of a trial but he must be kept safe.
